Park Sihyeon POV
7 minutes later after this epic confusion, we arrived at the bus stop near Heeseung's house.
"Let's go.", he said helping me up by the shoulder."Haven't been to your house yet. Will I find something I can torment you with?", I asked. "No way am I letting you in my room.", he scoffed. "Fine. You have a brother right? Maybe he can spill some tea.", I smirked. "Think what you will. Also he's not at home. And I am a lot more patient than you anyways, DUMMY.", he laughed.
We stopped in front of a quaint, Victorian looking place and I gasped in awe as I loosened my grip from his shoulders. His house was very, very cute and somehow reminded me of my grandmother's place in the countryside. He opened the gate and led me in the house. "I'll be quick. Let me just keep my stuff and change and I'll drop you home in the car.", he said. "Thanks. I'll wait."
"Mom! Can you please give Sihyeon some water? I'll be out in a minute!", he shouted. "No need.", I said as I bowed to the woman in front of me as she came into the living room. "I'll get you something to eat then?", she said smiling. *Typical Mom behavior, I smiled hearing her sweet voice*
"No no Mrs. Lee. I'll be going soon. I sprained my ankle and Heeseung was kind enough to drop me off.", I replied. *Although he was the one who made me sprain my ankle in the first place.* "Such a sweetheart. All we get to hear from Heeseung is how Sihyeon argues with me, how she's always angry with me and other middle school type banter.", she said as I laughed. "Thank you. Actually I'm the same way. Guess that's just the relationship we have."
"I'm disappointed. You're very pretty and a well-spoken girl too. He would be lucky if someone like you was there to tame his immaturity before he graduates." "Haha.", that's all I could get out as my cheeks were blushing with embarrassment.
"Mom, stop embarrassing her.", Heeseung said coming down the stairs wearing some sweats and a loose black tee. "What did I do?", his mom said seeming innocent. "Nothing. Thank you for letting him drop me home Mrs. Lee.", I bowed politely.
"Anytime. You're welcome to come again if you want? And stop with the bowing. You're practically family.", she said hugging me. "Mom, stop making her awkward!", he complained."See you again Mrs. Lee!", I said waving at her as we went out the gate to the car parked in front.
*She has one of those healing smiles that seem to make everything better. Guess that's where he got it.* "Sorry. I hope you weren't embarrassed.", he apologizing. "No worries. You're probably gonna get the same treatment by my Dad as you drop me off right now. Be prepared.", I said chuckling as I remembered the time he made my one guy friend run out the door in a matter of 5 minutes. "Oh no. I should never have pulled the chair.", he widened his eyes and laughed. "Who would've thought the one thing we agree on would be our parents?", he laughed."I guess with the way we argue, you and I are pretty similar, eh?", I nudged at his shoulder. "No can do. We're frenemies! The whole point is to have opposed views.", he chuckled. "They do say opposites attract.", I said almost in whisper. "Huh? What'd you say?", he asked. "Nothing.", I said rubbing the back of my neck. *Awkward. Why'd you think that Park Sihyeon? What's going on in your mind?*
Lee Heeseung POV
*Did she just say opposites attract? Maybe she's been feeling weird these days too. Don't think too much of it.* I thought, as we pulled up to her house.
