Lee Heeseung POV
"I look forward to it, Park Sihyeon.", I said giggling thinking of all the fun I'm gonna have.
"Perfect. Just perfect.", she muttered. This is gonna be so much FUN.
After a very long and an unbelievably boring lesson on post war political developments, the teacher finally left the class to discuss their projects. "So, what's the plan?", I asked my deskmate and frenemy, the one and only, Park Sihyeon. "The plan is you listen to me, do everything I say and stop talking for the entirety of two weeks. Sound good?", she said fluttering her dark, brown and gorgeous eyes.
*Wait what? Gorgeous? Where'd that come from? Okay whatever.*
"I'll think about that and get back to you sometime around, let's see, NEVER?", I said in the most sassy way ever. "Now how about you tell me the real plan? You obviously know how much I suck at World History and you being the teacher's pet must have decided something. Am I right or am I right?", I said as she rolled her eyes at me. "Fine. Why can't I ever win an argument against you? So annoying!", she remarked. "That's what happens when you argue with the president of the honorable Debate Club!", I said with pride and straightening my collar. "Why do I bother. Anyways, meet me in the library after school. We'll designate our duties so I don't have to meet up with you at home!", she said.
*Somehow I was disappointed. Wait. Why?*
Leaving my train of thought, I replied. "Sure. At 4:30 then?" "Yup! At least we agree on something." "Never. How about 5?", I suggested only to see her glaring face. "You're a jerk. See you at 5.", she said laughing.*At the library*
Park Sihyeon POV"So! Let's get started?" , I said putting my stuff on the table. "Yup. Let's.", he said giggling. He's probably up to no good but I cannot think about this right now. His smile is cute though.
*Huh? What?! Wake up Sihyeon! It's Lee Heeseung you're talking about!?!*Hours passed and I closed up my MacBook. "This much research should be enough? We'll meet again tomorrow to sort through the materials. Okay?", I told. "Okay. But how about you give me something to do? I've been sitting idle for the entire session. I love throwing paper balls at your head but I actually want to do something constructive, you know?" "Didn't think you were so passionate about group projects and equal work distribution. Yeah, okay. I'll give you some work. You can-", I said as he interrupted me mid sentence. "First get me some water."
"And why in the world would I oblige to your request, noble MASTER.", I asked bewildered.
"Precisely the reason. I said so and I am your noble master.", he said with a smug look on his face. "What noble master? He's such a cheeseball.", I muttered. "Huh?", he asked. "Nothing. I'll get you water instead of listening to more ridiculous reasons you will come up with to annoy me." I got up and filled up a glass of water from the water cooler. Seeing the smile on his face, he definitely had some prank in mind. I treaded carefully as I reached our table.
Just I was about to sit down, he pulled my chair making me stumble on the ground."Ouch!", I winced holding my now sprained ankle. "Oh my god, are you okay? I didn't mean for you to get hurt!", he sounded worried. "Then why would you pull the chair you idiot! ", I replied at his ridiculous comment. "I'm sorry. So sorry." He was taking this very seriously. Hmm. I wonder why. I wasn't in that much pain. But I just didn't wanna lose the one opportunity he gave me in all our countless arguments. XD
I tried to get up and lost my balance. He held me up, filled up my backpack and flung it across his shoulder. "Come. I'll drop you home."
