Chapter 7 - Dazai's house

Dazai walked into his apartment to find it dark, he could have sworn he left the lights on when he left.

He froze when he heard a childlike giggle.

"No need to be scared, I'm just going to play a little game. Do you want to play?"

Dazai turned in a circle, looking for the intruder. "Who are you? How did you get in? What do you want?"

"Come on now! If I told you that would ruin the fun! We're playing hide and seek! Come and find me!"

At this Dazai figured that if he wanted to find this intruder in his house, he will have to play along. He started looking around, under the table, in the closet, all the simple hiding places. But there was no sign of this strange, childlike intruder.

"You're no good at this game. For someone who's supposed to be really smart in the battlefield, you are a disappointment at this game."

The voice came from right behind him, so Dazai whirled around to look.

Atsushi was sitting on the table, a small smile on his face.

"Atsushi? Why are you here?"

"Hmm, I'm just going to repay you for all the pain you put Akutagawa in. And the pain you left Chuuya in when you left. So... Let's play."

Dazai froze, if Atsushi was going to put him through all the pain he put both of them through, he may not survive. He ran to the door, only to find it locked.

"Ah, ah. You can't run now, that would ruin all my fun!"

"Please don't kill me, I know I messed up, but that's in the past. Just please, don't kill me. I can't have Chuuya come home to find my dead body. It would break him."

"Begging already? My, my. I haven't even started yet."
