He had just gotten his first job, he just had to act like he was nervous. That was when Kunikida came up to him.
"Hey Brat. It's not that I lack sympathy for your unlucky, ill-begotten life. As such, I will give you one hint for surviving in this city. Don't run into him."

Atsushi, froze. He knew that face. That face had haunted his dreams for 6 years.
Akutagawa.
The one who he thought was his best friend, the one who left him behind.
He can't wait to see him again. And when he does, he will show him all the pain he had to go through when he left.
He gains more information about what they know of him and then leaves for the mission.

As they enter the Alley they realise that there is no way that this is the right place.
"I apologise, my real target was you."
Higuchi says as she takes out her phone.
"Akutagawa-senpai. I have them as planned."
She tries to shoot Tanizaki but Naomi jumped in the way. She now has multiple bullet wounds in her back and arms.
"Brother... are you ok?" She says, swaying from blood loss, then faints.
Higuchi then holds a gun to his head as he's panicking about what to do. That is when Atsushi gets to see his ability.
Light snow.
The power to create illusions.
Tanizuki attacks Higuchi from behind, chocking her.
Until a strange power hits him from behind.
Akutagawa.
"Fear death. Fear slaughter. Those who desire death have an equal desire to die. Therefore..."
He trails off, Atsushi looks down, he doesn't want Akutagawa to recognise him yet. (I'm going to give him a scar going across his eye, it just helps with the story) Or to see his scar.
"Nice to meet you. I am Akutagawa, one of the Port Mafia dogs, as is she."
"Akutagawa-senpai! I can handle this myself—"
She is cut off with a slap from Akutagawa. Atsushi is trying not to laugh at the 'bad boy' mask Akutagawa has on.
"I believe my orders were to take the weretiger alive! And yet here you are, gunning everyone down. Stand down! Leave. That is an order from your superior."
With that, Higuchi leaves, leaving Akutagawa, Atsushi and two half dead children behind.
