"What exactly happened after I left?"

Atsushi thought for a moment.

"Well, I don't remember much. But what I do remember is pain. Both physical and mental. I had woken up to find that you and Gin were gone, how is she by the way? She did get better right?"

Akutagawa blinked, "Y-yes, she's all better. She's on a mission at the moment and she'll be back tomorrow."

"Ah, good. Now, we're getting off topic. Yes, I had woken up to find both of you gone and a furious headmaster. He thought that I had helped you. I don't remember anything else except from waking up a few days later with multiple new scars all over my body. None of them have faded, but I like them. They remind me of why I'm who I am today. I suppose I have to thank you for that, if you haden't left I would still be the little innocent, naïve little boy I was when you left."

Akutagawa looked down, he had not missed the subtle barb in those words.

"Well! Now it's time for you to answer my questions. First question, how did you join the Mafia?"

"We were running through the forest when we came across the Mafia on a mission. The leader there, Dazai, took us in and trained us."

"Dazai? Huh, I saved him from the river a few weeks ago. Darn, I should have left him to drown. Though I do have to thank him for saving you and Gin. Next question, how many people have you killed?"

"I-I don't know. A lot."

Atsushi sighed, but it was reasonable. He didn't know how many people he had killed either.

"Ok, last question. Were you treated right?"

Akutagawa thought about that one, "Dazai was my mentor, he taught me how to survive."

"You're avoiding the question."

"...No"

Atsushi's face went dark, he was going to kill everyone who had ever hurt his Aku. They were all going to die.

"Who exactly hurt you and Gin?"

"It was just Dazai who did the intentional damage."

"Ok, thanks! I've got to go, but I will be back later tonight. Goodbye!"

And with that, Atsushi jumped out the window.
