Cain stood in the hallway of the hospital. He knew that Chloe was having brain surgery and he felt sick with worry.

Cain knew what he and Chloe had and he knew how had a bit of fun.

He knew how Chloe was away to get over what moira had done to him and how she had broken his heart and how he and Chloe had just been having fun but he knew how that her life was in danger and she was going through brain surgery and that she meant more to him than he thought.

Cain sighed as he sat in the waiting room as he ran his hands through his hair as grace walked into the room. Cain looked up at her and frowned

"is she okay?" He asked as grace sat next to him and smiled

"she is in recovery. I knew that you were here, I know you care about her but you know that my mum can't know that you are here" grace said as Cain nodded

"I know that's why I am staying away. Why I am hiding out here. I want nothing more to be by her side and holding her hand through this but I know your mother and if she knew over us then it would kick off" Cain said as grace looked to him and smiled

"you love her, don't you?" Grace asked as Cain looked up at her and nodded

"I do, she's..she's amazing" Cain said

Kim sat in Chloe room as she sat next to her bed. She looked as Chloe started to wake up

"Chloe" Kim said as Chloe groaned in pain. She looked as the doctors walked in and started to do some tests on her.

Kim looked as Chloe yelled out in pain. Kim felt her heart break as she looked to Chloe crying. Kim knew that she was seen as a cold hearted bitch but when it came to her kids, she was far from it.

Kim walked out of the room as she heard Chloe cry out. It killed her to listen to Chloe in pain. She ran a hand through her hair as she turned around and walked back into the room as she saw Chloe being lifted into her chair

"is she okay?"

"We have to get Chloe mobile as soon as possible, it will help her healing time mrs Tate" a doctor said as Kim frowned. Kim sat on the side of chloes bed and smiled as she looked to her

"I know your in pain baby girl, but I am here and you are going to be okay I promise" Kim Said as Chloe looekd to her with tears rolling down her face.

Kim knew how strong Chloe was trying to be and she hated how she couldn't help her

Chloe lay asleep in her hospital bed as she heard someone walk into the room. She knew it was Cain, she could smell his cologne

"hey chlo" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"you don't need to talk, I know you have been through a lot and you have a brain injury and I have been there but I want you to know what when you are ready than I am here for you as I love you and I am not going anywhere" Cain said as Chloe looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand on top of his as smiled as they held a look.

She knew that she wanted to tell him that she felt the same but she couldn't put her words together right now. He looked to her and smiled as he stood up and kissed her unaware of how someone had seen them
