Chapter 2

~3 Days Later~ 

        I woke up to shuffling down stairs. Then I remember today was the day I was leaving for the cruise. I started packing last night. We are on the cruise for 2 weeks. 

I got out of my bed and got dressed. I put on a t-shirt and some shorts, nothing fancy. I went to the mirror and did my normal routine in the morning. I packed my toiletries, and also grabbed some shoes from my closet and threw it in my suit case. I did my last minute checking. I grabbed my phone, and my charger, and put it in my purse. I grabbed my suit case and my purse and then said goodbye to my room. Because i'm that stupid. I went downstairs and my dad was sitting at the counter waiting for my mom and I. 

"Good morning!" I said. "Good morning hun. Are you all ready for the trip?" my dad asked. I shook my head yes with a big smile and he chuckled. "I'm going to go put your stuff in the car. When you and your mother are done just come outside i'll be waiting in the car." he said walking out the door. "Okay." I said still smiling.

I heard my mom coming out of her room mumbling to herself. "Mom... Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes, yes. I'm fine just double checking things. Making sure i'm not missing anything. Are you ready to go?" she said looking around the house. "Yuppers" I said smiling. "Alrighty then lets get going!" she said. 

We walked out to the car and I saw my dad bobbing his head up and down to his music. I laughed to myself and got into the car while my mom was putting her stuff in the trunk of the car. I put in my headphones and turned on my music. This is going to be a looooonnnggg ride.

I woke up to my mom shaking me. "Get up! We are here!" my mom said screaming very loudly as she was laughing at herself. I guess I fell asleep. I got out of the car and stretched. I could smell the salty air. I looked up and saw a big cruise ship in front of me. My jaw dropped. I didn't think the ship was gonna be so big. My dad handed my suit case and motioned me to follow him. We were at the check in desk so we could get our tickets checked. It was a long line. 

"Mom I have to go peeeee!" I said in a crying baby voice. My mom rolled her eyes and pointed to the bathroom sign. I left my suit case with them and started walking to the bathroom. I went in there and did my buisness. I walked out of the bathroom and the next thing you know i'm on the ground with a longboard and a person on me. 

"Ow." I said holding my knee. "Oh. My. God. I'm so so so so sorry!" a voice said and looked next to me and it was the person who hit me. He got up first and put his hand put out to help me up. I took his hand and stood up and dusted myself off. My knee really hurt. Bad. "I am really sorry I wan't paying attention to where I was going." He said chuckling a little bit. I finally took a look at his face and he had bluish greenish eyes, with sandy blonde hair. His smile was really cute. "it's okay" I said looking at the ground. "Uh are you sure? Because your knee. It's kinda bleeding." He said pointing at my injury. I didn't even know I was bleeding.

"Yeah, i'm fine I can't even feel it." I said with a chuckle. "Oh, well can you walk okay?" he asked. Honestly I don't even know. "I think so." I said taking a step and felt this rush of pain come up my leg. "Ow ow ow ow" I said squweezing my eyes shut. I felt an arm come around my shoulder and helped me. It was him. "Here let me help you." he said. "Thanks" I said silently. He had a nice tight grip around me. He helped me start limping my way back to my parents.

"Are you here forthe cruise?" He asked. "Yeah, how about you?" I asked trying not to cry because it hurt so bad. "Yeah, my parents are checking in at the line. Same as yours?" He asked with a smile. I shook my head yes. We were almost there. "My name is Wade by the way." he said. "Oh. My names Kylie." I said with a smile. Wade. I liked that name. "Cool" He said looking ahead we were getting to my parents. 

"Kylie! What happened?" My dad yelled while running up to Wade and I. I told him everything and Wade still had an arm around me. "Oh well then we should get on the ship. Your mom has us checked in." He said. I shook my head and my dad put his arm around me and said thank you to Wade. "Maybe I'll see you on the cruise?" I said with a smile. "Yeah, maybe." He said smiling looking at the ground. 

I couldn't stop thinking about Wade when I was walking. I really hope I see him again. Soon.
