-Meliodas POV-

"Can I come in?" She asked.

"Sure." I said and Zeneri walked inside, closing the door after her.

"Oh my, are you okay?!" She asked as she rushed to me.

"I-I'm f-fine." I said and slowly moved to lay on the side.

"I will help to clean you up!" She said and walked out of the room. It didn't take long before she come back with a bowl with water and a towel. Some bandaged as well.

She started to clean up my face with the warm water and the towel. She didn't need to bandage it because all the blood on my face was from when I throw up blood or coughed out the blood.

"C-can y-you l-lift your s-s-shirt?" She asked. I nodded and slowly lifted my shirt to see her face turn tomato red while cleaning. She bandaged my whole stomach there.

I think I even have about 3 broken ribs too, but if I go to hospital, father will beat me up even more.

When I was fully cleaned up, Zeneri helped me clean up the floor.

"T-thank you Zeneri." I said when we was done.

"I-it's okay." She said and walked away with the things, then she come back and we both sat down in the bed.

"I-I heard a-about that marriage." Zeneri said. I nodded.

"D-do you like t-that g-girl?" Zeneri asked.

"Elizabeth?" I asked.

"Yes, I saw her here yesterday, visiting you with the others." Zeneri said. I nodded.

"Y-yeah, I do, but... I don't know if... she likes me back." I said. She stood up immediately.

"Don't be stupid! I know she does! How could anyone NOT like you?!" She asked.

"Z-Zeneri? Is everything okay?" I asked. She sat down again.

"Y-yes, s-sorry about that." She said.

"It's okay." I said. Then she giggled.

"What is it?" I asked.

"When we all heard about you coming back, we thought you would be a spoiled brat. No of the servants here ever meet you before because of many getting fired, but you are like the opposite." Zeneri said. I looked at her.

"Is it something you aren't telling me?" I asked. Her face become red again.

"I-I think I should go! You need to rest!" She said and walked out.

"B-bye?" I said before she closed the door. Then I heard voices outside my door.

"How did it go?" A unknown asked.

"He will never like me back." Zeneri said.

"Hey, you will find someone else to love and that love you back." The unknown said.

"Thank you Jenna." Zeneri said and their footsteps faded. She likes me? It really must have hurt when I told her about Elizabeth.

Then another knock was heard.

"Come in." I said and all the sins and Elizabeth walked inside.

"Explain everything!" Diane yelled as she walked up to me. How long was i even passed out if they already ended school?

"E-Explain what?" I asked as I held my stomach.

"About that marriage! Elizabeth told us!" Diane said.

"I don't know much more then you already does. I just found out yesterday at the dinner." I said.

"What dinner?" King asked. Didn't Elizabeth tell them about that? My face heated up.

"A normal dinner. R-right Elizabeth?" I asked.

"Y-yes." She said.

"So you was with each other?" Gowther asked.

"Yes/No." Both me and Elizabeth said. Me saying yes and she no.

"No/Yes." We both said again but different answers.

"Okay, you two had dinner together. Who told you about the marriage?" Merlin asked.

"Father." We both said at the same time. They all nodded.

"Captain? Do you even like Elizabeth like that?" Escanor asked. Never thought he would be the one asking that. He always surprise me. My face heated up even more when he did too.

"I-I." I said. Was I really gonna confess my love for her with the other there? Was it even love? I mean, I like to hang out with the sins nearly as much.

"Well?" Diane asked.

"I-I d-don't know." I said. Then a slap hit my face. It was Diane.

"You're so stupid! Can't you tell she has feeling for you?!" Diane yelled as I looked at Elizabeth who looked down at the floor.

"E-Elizabeth." I said and slowly got up from my bed to her.

"Can we be alone for a while?" I asked. They all nodded and walked out of the room.

"Later." Ban said before the door closed. Now, I stood in front of her.

"Elizabeth?" I asked. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. The hand I had on my stomach traveled up to her cheek, whipping away one tear that fell down her cheek while the other took her hand.

"Please, don't cry, I..." I started. Then led her to my bed and made her sit down as I sat beside her.

"Listen, I... about the marriage." I said. She looked at me.

"What is it?" She asked soft.

"How much I would want it, I can't let it happen. It's not like I don't like you like that, it's just my father..." I said.

"Father what?" She asked.

"My father will have more power if it continues and... just think about all the things he could do. Life will be hell for everyone and..." I said.

"And?" She asked.

"And I don't want you to get hurt by him." I said and kissed the top of her hand.

"With that you want to come?" She asked.

"I don't think we should... hang out until we know it won't happen." I said. It hurt to say that. She stood up immediately and ran out of my room.

"Elizabeth!" I said and stood up fast, but my stomach hurt because of that and I fell to the floor.

"Elizabeth..." I mumbled before I passed out.
