First feelings

His home

-Meliodas POV-

The door bust open and father walked inside.

"Get ready for school! The limo will wait for you after school! Go!" Father said. I stood up and started getting ready.

When I was done, I walked up to the limo and went to school.

At the school, I walked to the classroom to see all the sins and Elizabeth at my desk. They was talking, but I didn't hear what.

Then I decided to put on a front and smiled.

"Yo!" I said and sat at my desk.

"There you are! Where were you this morning? We didn't see you." Diane said.

"Um, it's... nothing. I was just busy." I said.

"Liar! What happened?!" Ban said.

"I'm just busy. That's all." I said.

"You know, we will find out one way or another." Merlin said. I nodded before they walked to their seats. The lesson started.

"Meliodas? Are you really okay?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yes, I am." I said.

"You can tell me everything, you know. It really looks like something is bothering you." Elizabeth said.

"I'm fine, really." I said and paid attention to the lesson. I was trying to avoid everyone the whole day, but it didn't work that good.

I was on my way to the limo when I heard a voice.

"Captain!" Diane yelled. Just for one second, I stopped, but then started walking again.

They all catched up to me in no time. All the sins and Elizabeth.

"Captain?! What is wrong with you?!" Diane asked.

"Nothing." I said.

"Meliodas, please tell us what's wrong." Elizabeth said.

"Nothing is wrong, just... let me be." I said and continued to walk to the limo.

"Wait, limo?!" I heard King ask. Then the limo started driving away.

-King's POV-

"Let's go home to Meliodas." Merlin said. We all agreed.

Escanor knocked on the door at Meliodas. It didn't take long before Zeldris opened.

"Hey, Zeldris. Could we talk to Meliodas?" I asked.

"Sorry, but he isn't here." He said.

"Where is he then?" Ban asked.

"Home." Zeldris spoke.

"So he is here?" Gowther asked.

"No, this is Meliodas adoptive home, now he is in his real home." Zeldris said.

"At the demon king?" Escanor asked.

"Yes." Zeldris said.

"Why is he there?" Diane asked.

"His father wanted him back, we don't have the right to keep him here if his real father wants him back." Zeldris spoke. We nodded.

"Do you know where he lives now?" Merlin asked.

"There!" He said and pointed at the big castle about a half mile away.

"Thanks!" Diane said and started walking somewhere.

"Bye!" Elizabeth said and we all started following Diane again. She walked to the bus stop. It took about 10 minutes before the bus arrived. We all stood in silence the whole time.

We walked on the bus and paid. It took a good 30 minutes in silence before we arrived. From there, it was another 30 minutes walk. Still in silence.

"Should we really do this?" Escanor asked.

"Don't be a coward! He is our friend!" Diane said.

"Yeah!" Ban said.

"Yes, he is." I said.

"Mhmm." Elizabeth said.

"Will we knock some time?" Gowther asked. That made Merlin knock on the door. The door opened nearly immediately by a butler.

"Oh, umm." I said.

"We don't want to buy anything." The butler said and smashed the door in front of us. Diane knocked again and the door opened by the same person. Suddenly, Elizabeth walked up to in front of him.

"Excuse me sir, but we would like to talk to Meliodas. He is a friend of ours and we would like meet him." Elizabeth said, nearly out of this world, politely.

"Oh, I am so sorry for my rudeness. I will get him right away. Please, make yourselves at home in the mean while." The butler said and let us in, then closed the door after us.

It didn't take long before the Captain arrived. He looked sad.

"W-what are you guys doing here?" He asked when he saw us.

"What is happening?" Diane asked.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Gowther asked.

"This is important!" Merlin said.

"Y-yeah!" Escanor agreed.

"Are you okay?" Elizabeth asked.

"Captain?" Ban asked.

"Still, what are you doing here?" Captain asked.

"We wanted answers." I said.

"For what?" He asked.

"Like, why the hell are ya here?" Ban asked.

"Ask my father." Captain said and tried to avoid eye contact.

"Meliodas, please look at us." Elizabeth said. He did as she said and looked at her, his face turning red immediately and looked away again.

"What was that?" Ban asked.

"N-nothing!" Captain said.

"It didn't look like no-" Gowther was cut off by a yell.

"Meliodas! Come here right now!" A male voice yelled. Captain jumped because of that.

"I-I will come back soon!" He said and was about to walk away.

"Wait, can we come with you?" Escanor asked. Never thought he would ask of everyone here. Captain turned around and looked at us.

"I don't want you to get involved in this, please stay here." He said. We nodded as he walked away.

"Who vote to follow him?" Diane asked. Me, Ban, Diane and Elizabeth took up our hands.

"Then let's go!" Ban said and we all started following the Captain. He was walking in a corridor until he walked in a room. Some kind of bedroom, a small crack was between the two doors and we was able to look through.

Somehow, we lost Merlin on the way here, no idea how, but we did. Now, it was only me, Ban, Diane, Elizabeth, Gowther and Escanor.
