Chapter 22

Crystal's P.O.V.

It has now been a week.

I really didn't want to leave. It was amazing here.

But I'm not a Roman.

I grabbed my bag from my bed and walked out of my room.

I saw Nico talking with Hazel and (Y/n).

"Hey guys! I'm ready!" I called to them.

(Y/n) turned to me and smiled.

"Great! Mrs. O'Leary is ready to go too!" She called back.

Over the last week, I bonded more with (Y/n). We talk about our favorite books or hobbies, what we like to do, etc.

She also wants to help me with my small crush.

Ok. It isn't small, but it isn't really big either.

Hazel ran up to me and hugged me.

"Please come back soon Crys!" She begged as I hugged her back.

"Of course!" I smiled brightly.

Because of Hazel and (Y/n), I'm not my usual shy self anymore.

Will is most likely gonna faint. He would never expected this to happen.

I mentally laughed at the thought of my brother.

Hazel pulled away and I walked up to Mrs. O'Leary.

Mrs. O'Leary was wagging her tail in excitement, ready to get going.

I started climbing up Mrs. O'Leary while Nico and (Y/n) said their goodbyes.

I said bye to Reyna the other day because she said she couldn't make it to our departure because of praetor duties.

I was nervous to go back to Camp Half-Blood. (Y/n) said she had some kind of plan to get Leo to notice me, Hazel also helped.

I tried to tell them no, but they are really stubborn.

After about 5 minutes, we were running into the shadows.

Leo's P.O.V.

It's Leo's turn!

I was currently in bunker 9, tinkering around with Festus.

I have been bored all week (Y/n), Nico and the other girl, Crystal I think, have been gone.

Crystal...

I heard she was a daughter of Apollo, and she doesn't talk a lot, unless you are really close with her.

I have to admit, she's pretty cute with her long blonde hair, her bright blue eyes...

Snap out of it Leo! She isn't gonna like someone like you.

I sighed.

It's been messed up for me since Calypso left. I always distracted myself by bugging Nico or flirting and joking around with the others.

I continued working on Festus until I heard conch for breakfast.

I dusted my hands off.

"I'll see ya later. Ok Festus?" I told my mechanical dragon friend.

Festus made a bunch of clicking noises.

Morse code.

I walked out of bunker 9 and headed to the dining pavilion.

Before I arrived at the pavilion, I saw a big crowd of people.

I headed towards the crowd and soon a big black hellhound came into view.

Beside the hellhound was Nico, (Y/n), and Crystal.

"Hey Leo!" (Y/n) shouted, nudging Crystal who was beside her.

Crystal looked towards me then quickly looked away.

I swear I saw her face turn red.

Percy and Jason were soon beside me, all of us thinking the same thing.

Soon, we were on top of Nico.

"WHAT THE HADES!" Nico yelled.

"Admit it. You missed us." Jason smirked.

"No I didn't. Now get off." Nico glared.

"Hmm...how 'bout no?" Percy laughed.

Jason and I snickered.

"Get off of Nico you boys. They just got back." The scolding of Annabeth reached our ears.

Jason got pulled off by Piper, Perct by Annabeth...

And I got dragged off by my new crush.

Crystal.

Crystal's face was tinted red, and so was mine.

All of a sudden, my hair caught on fire.

Crystal shrieked and jumped away.

"Sorry!" I apologized while patting out my hair.

I could hear the snickers from my friends.

I gave them a glare, but they continued to snicker.

I just realized that I said snicker twice and I just ate a snickers bar XD.
