Chapter Six

"Why is she in the hospital?" I asked the man who answered the call

I'm nervous as hell, why is she in the hospital in the first place? I thought we're going to meet

"D-di ko po alam ser eh, natagpuan lang po namin siya nakahiga sa kalsada walang malay" I froze when I heard it.

"A-asan pong hospital yan?" I asked nervously

"Notre Dame Hospital ser" the unknown person said through Zee's phone.

"Thank you, I'll be on my way" I said and ended the call and rushed to the hospital as soon as I can.

When I arrived at the hospital I went to the nurse station and ask where's Zee. I instantly go to Zee and I saw her she's now conscious

"Zee, are you hurt?" I worriedly asked her.

I didn't get a respond instead she just shook her head. I felt relieved with her response.

I sighed while looking at her. Mas pumayat at namutla siya kumpara dati. Para siyang may sakit.

"I'll go to the doctor who examine you" I told her. I was about to go out and find the doctor when she said "Please stay with me Dale" naiiyak nitong tugon

I hugged her and stayed beside her. I look at her while she's sleeping and I caressed her hair. She really look like an angel.

Woke up the next morning beside Zee and I immediately checked her and I saw her starring at me.

I became conscious with my face and turned my back to check my face. When I am reassured that I look fine and look at her and ask

"What do you want to eat?" I asked her

"Anything" she said while smiling. I really missed her smile.

"Okay, wait here I'll go get some foods for us" I said and walk out of the emergency room

Bumili ako ng pagkain namin and bumili na rin ng essentials na kakailangan niya. As I walk to the street to go back to the hospital when I heard someone singing.

I see your face in my mind as I drive away,

It was the same song when I saw Zee for the second time. She was singing in the bench under the tree, the place when I first saw her sleeping.

And we know it's never simple,

You're the only thing I know like the back of my hand,

I remember how she strum her guitar and started singing. The time I fell for her.

How she sing those lyrics really broke my heart because of the meaning and because of her beautiful voice.

That time I can't go near her, I just watched her behind the tree near the bench.

And I can't breathe

I walk fast as I could to go back to the hospital. When I saw her, she was writing something then when she noticed me looking at her

She instantly keep the paper and pen in her pillow, I plastered a smile and hugged her as tight as I could.

"Ano yung tinago mo?" I asked her while still hugging her

"D-dale, 'di ako makahinga" she said and I realized that I miss her so much to hug her tight like that

"S-sorry" I apologized

She smiled at me and said "Wala yung notes lang and reminders"

I nod at her and prepare the food to the table beside and we started eating and I gave her favorite yogurt drink.

"Dale wag mo kong iwan" she broke the silence and uttered those words. I left dumbfounded. I can't say anything and I tried to compose myself.

"Yes, I will never leave you" I assured a smile to her and help her hand.

Mahal ko pa rin siya pero bakit iba ang nararamdaman ko bakit may halong takot at kaba? She wasn't like this. It's kinda unfamiliar to me

After naming kumain ay nagpaalam muna ako na umuwi para makaayos at makapagpalit ng damit.
