Chapter 14 - What kills? Prophecy!

Ok onto the story!

Alex POV.- (It's been a while since we had one of those, huh?) Or maybe it's just me and after how long I've been writing... ANYWAYS-)

We camped in the woods. After setting up a tent, we treated to Lexxy's wound. She had a painful gash on her leg.

Ugh! Why do I love her so much? Maybe it has something to do with how Dad told me not to leave her alone. We will never know... I rummaged through my bag for leftover food. Morgan couldn't help us because she was undercover. Hmm...

We sat around the fire that we had somehow managed to light. With Chuck fast asleep, we had realized how much he and the other satyrs were useful when it came to serving in nature.

Anyways, Chuck was now awake with no clue that he had fainted a while ago. "How are you doing, bro?"

"I am fine. Just smash smash and wack wack!" He answered. We laughed.

"Okay, We have no idea where the other karsyns are," Melody demanded our attention. "What's the next play?"

"I uh... had a dream when I was asleep. The gas... It was," Lexxy stopped. "I may have a small idea where it is."

"So... Where is it?" Morgan asked.

"It's in a catacomb," Lexxy said hessitantly. "It's-"

"Wait," I stopped her. "Am I supposed to have an idea of what a catacomb is?"

"No?" Melody said giggling.

"Catacombs are human-made passageways for religious practice. Any chamber used as a burial place is a catacomb, although the word is mostly associated with the Roman Empire," Morgan explained. Chuck and I nodded as if we understood what she had said.

"It's an underground cemetery," Lexxy translated.

"Oh..."

"So," Lexxy continued. "It is in the Ardeatine Caves."

"You call that information a small idea of what you might know?" I smirk at her.

"No," She frowned. "It's a hidden catacomb. Might take us a month to find it."

"Oh..." I used my intelligent response, again.

"We will find it!" Chuck insisted. "Okay? Let's discuss the Prophecy... Haven't done that yet."

"Okay," Lexxy said. "A game of time will be played by five... That's us"

"The orphan and the others shall dive," Morgan said.

"Lexxy is the orphan," Chuck stated the obvious. "We are the others. But where will we dive?"

"Dive could mean a lot of things actually," Melody spoke. "Dived into the cave full of cyclops, dived into the lemon bar or Alex diving into Lexxy's heart..."

Lexxy glared at Melody, "That's not possible! It says the orphan - Me - And the others, not only Ale-"

"Hey chill," I said with a smile. "How about the next line. Face the horrors out of the blue."

We all fall silent.

"Blue," Lexxy repeated. "The next karsyn we want may actually be blue. Does it mean...?"

"The next line... This is to be done without all of you." Melody continued sighing. "It is connected to the third line."

"Well, it could also be connected to the last two lines," I said. "An exchange with the enemy will take place, And one shall leave without any trace."

"No, I don't think so..." Lexxy said. "An exchange with the enemy will take place. That's got to be Kratos, right? Kratos and us. Giving him the karsyns to make the Karsyn. But that would make him the enemy..."

"Well, I don't know about that but," Morgan angrily said. "The last line - And one shall leave without any trace - That's Lexxy."

"Wait, WHAT!?!" I protested at the sudden turn of events. Lexxy stared at her for a while before she actually spoke, "Why would I do that?"

"Look," Morgan continued. "I don't know you guys much but Lexxy here... she comes into camp and things go haywire? This mystery person threatens us and Rachel speaks another prophecy... She will betray us."

"Percy, Alex's father was given a prophecy as soon as he entered camp!" Chuck defended.

"Well, Percy didn't know everything about us and our parents," She said flatly.

"Didn't think The Tony Stark's Daughter, Morgan Stark would be so rude," Lexxy spoke back.

"I bet you don't even have a father," Morgan counter strikes. We all stare at her.

"Hey," Melody interrupts. "Stop fighting. This is not why we are here!"

Lexxy got up and went deeper into the forest. "Lexxy wait!" I shouted back.

"Why did you act so rude?" I asked. 

She turned and walked into the tent, closing it from the inside. I sighed and decided to comfort Lexxy but Chuck stopped me. "I will go get her."

I nodded and go to sleep.

(There's your chapter. Two in a day! I was looking forward to writing this chapter!!

Don't blame me for making Morgan so rude... Morgan is not rude. The reason will be explained in the next or probably the comming chapters.

The Prophecy holds twists and turns! Do you think that Lexxy will actually betray everyone? What does the diving part mean? What horrors will the next karsyn bring? Well, we will find out.
