CHAPTER 4- The Akward Question.

"Just wait, watch and learn."

Alex POV. -

I had woken up with Lexxy by my side. I had slowly got up and had gone to went fresh. When I came out, I saw that Lexxy was up. I chided myself.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?"

"Good morning," she said smiling. "And no. You did not wake me up. And also, I am sorry. I was very sleepy and then I suddenly fell asleep."

"Oh, no. It's okay," I replied. There was an awkward silence between us.

"I will go now." She said and went into the washroom. A smile crept into my face. I like Lexxy. Actually, I love Lexxy.

The door opened and father came in.

"Breakfast is ready, honey. Hurry up," He looked around the room. "Where is Lexxy?"

"She is in the washroom taking a shower." I replied.

"Annabeth gave her these camp clothes." He said handing me a pair of clothes. "You are comming to camp too. Your friends will be there. Chuck will be there."

They thought of Chuck made me happy. "Okay, I'll get ready."

Father looked shocked. He raised an eyebrow and left smiling.

We got ready in 20 mins and went downstairs towards the dining table. We saw mom and dad sitting in the dining table.

Dad was smiling, taking to mom about something. When he saw us, he put an angry expression and scolded me, "What part of the statement 'hurry up' did you not understand?"

"All of it, I guess." We all laughed at once except for Lexxy who was standing in a corner, awkwardly. 

I pulled a chair for her.

She smiled at me, "Thank you gentlemen."

"You're welcome." I sat down in the chair next to her.

Mom served us breakfast. We all ate in silence. Lexxy finished her food first. She excused herself and left.

Suddenly, Mom and dad started ask me a lot of questions.

"What we're you doing yesterday? Is she nice? Did she say anything? What do you think about her?" (And many other questions that I am too lazy to write.)

"Mom! Dad!" I shouted and then I continued eating.

Annabeth POV. -

The way Alex was blushing proved that he liked Lexxy. "We know you like him. You know you like him.

"I slowly start. "She is the best friend you have had since you were born. Think about it."

Then we continued eating quietly.

After washing the dishes, I went to my room to get ready. I was so excited to go to camp. well, it was summer, so Leo, Calypso, Piper, Frank, Hazel, Nico and many old friends would be there.

It has been so long since I had met them. 

When I entered the room, I saw Percy sitting in the bed. "Hey Seaweed brain, why the smug expression?" 

"Did you see how happy Alex was today?" He asked me. I stopped him with a kiss. "Get ready. Time to meet old friends."

(I thought of leaving it here. But I am not cruel. So I have written more)

Lexxy POV.-

We were on our way to camp. I could see Long island at a distance. Oh, finally we would be there and I could figure out a way to come home. 

I remembered the day when I and my sister were playing inside the bedroom and I heard a loud noise from downstairs. I was still 4 years old. My elder sister was near me. She gave me a kiss on my cheeks and left to see what was wrong.

A moment later, she returned with tears in her eyes and hugged me tightly. 

Oh, those awful days. I wonder where my sister is right now. Would she be searching for me? i was so lost in my thoughts that I did not notice that the car had stopped. 

"We are here!" Annabeth announced.
