.____.

Grian was in a dream again, but he didn't know it. He "woke up" in the poultry cave, where he had fallen asleep. He saw a red bed couple of blocks away from him, but he didn't see Exirian. He immidiedly knew that something was wrong. He looked around the poultry cave but didn't find EX. First thing Grian could think of was that EX had just left the poultry cave, but it was very unlikely since X wants to ban him. Second thing that came into Grian's mind was that X had found out that EX is in Hermitcraft and banned him. Grian checked the chat but there was nothing that could tell that Exirian has been banned.

Grian decided to go and find EX. Before that he needed hide his wings. He didn't have to hide his wings before he went sleeping, since Exirian knew that he is a Watcher. After hiding his wings, Grian grabbed a pair of elytra, some rockets and left the cave from a hole, that he had left there for exit.

When Grian got from underground, he noticed that the atmosphere in the outside was very ominous. There was something strange in the weather, but he chose to ignore it.

He flew around his base a few times, only to make sure that Exirian wasn't at his base. The next place Grian could think of was the shopping district. As he flew closer to the shopping district, the srange feeling in his gut grew sronger.

Grian arrived to the shopping district and started to wander around, looking for Exirian. After a while he started to get really worried. Not only because he didn't find EX, but there wasn't any other hermits like there would normally be. Suddendly he heard someone speaking behind him. "Who are you looking for?" Grian heard Flora talking to him with her freezing cold voice. Grian turned around and saw Gem and Flora and--to Grian's horror--the hermits and EX floating in the air, trapped in the Watchers magic.

There Grian stood, dumbfounded in front of the Watchers. He hoped that they would at least be a size a human would be(Watchers are about twise as long as a normal human would be), because felt like crushing under them. Grian snapped back to reality, "Let the hermits and EX go." Watchers laughed a bit before answering, "Only if you come back to us."

"Grian, are you one of them?" Iskall asked with a voice that didn't quite match up with their real voice, but Grian didn't hear that. The only thing he could hear in Iskall's voice, was that betrayal. "No, NO! I'm not a Watcher!" Grian tried to convince to Iskall that he wasn't a Watcher, which was a lie.

"Are you sure about that?" Gem asked and snapped her fingers. Grian heard a scream. He looked at the direction of the voice and saw Cleo in purple flames. The flames had started exactly where her heart was. The flames quickly covered her whole body. Suddenly, she fell on the ground and didn't scream anymore. Grian knew that she was dead. Permanently. Gone. It was Evo all over again. His friends dying in front of his eyes. He had to stop it.

"Okay, I will come whit you, but only if you will not hurt any of my friends," Grian said looking the Watchers at where their eyes are under their masks. Grian took his own mask and put it on. His wings and halo came visible.

"Yes, go and never come back! Because of you, Cleo is now dead!" someone of the hermits shouted.
"I knew there were something strange about you."
"You are a traitor!"
"Troublemaker!"
"Useless little bitch!"

Hermits' voices filled Grian's head, blurring his mind. He wanted to cry. He felt awful. He felt like falling into void.

Exirian woke up because of a loud thump on his left. He checked what it was and saw that Grian had fell from his bed.

It would have looked comical, if Grian didn't look like he had seen a ghost. EX got up from his bed and went to Grian. "Are you alright?" he asked as he helped Grian up from the ground.

"No. I had a nightmare," Grian responded and sat down on his bed. "You wanna talk about it?" EX asked as he sat down next to Grian. "Yes, I guess." Exirian nodded to him to begin.

"I woke up here, in poultry cave and the first thing I noticed was that you weren't there. I looked around the poultry cave, my base and the shopping district. Just when I was leaving the shopping district, the Watchers appeared behind me. You and the hermits were trapped in their magic. They said, that they would let you go, if I will come whit them. I said no and they killed Cleo as a threat. I said that if they don't hurt the other hermits or you, I will go with them. Then the hermits started to blame me because of Cleo's death and said horrible things to me. Then I felt like falling and I woke up," Grian told as tears were falling from his eyes. EX wouldn't say that Grian was crying, he more likely had sweaty eyes.

Exirian pulled Grian into a comforting hug. It was a good idea to stay at Grian's base, even if it just made Grian more safe. EX would've had just teleported to his home, but he didn't like to use codes just to make it easier to himself. And Grian were having a rough time, so he wanted to be there for his new friend. Actually, Grian was his only friend.

It was kinda sad, but EX haven't had real friends for really long time. Most of the time he had been alone with his mind. He had had one friend many years ago, but she died as the Watchers had destroyed that world. So it was a big thing to Exirian to have a friend.

"Hey, it was just a dream. I'm sure, that that won't really happen. And if you told to the hermits that you are a Watcher, they would still like you. You don't have to worry about that," EX tried to comfort Grian, but it didn't seem to help. He must have taken that dream really hevily, or he just didn't belive EX.

Exirian pulled out of the hug and cleaned tears from Grian's eyes. "Are you going back to sleep?" he asked. Grian just shook his head. "Is there something that would make you feel better?" Grian felt little embarrassed about how much EX were taking care of him.

"Why you care so much about me. We've literally just met and I don't even deserve all of this," Grian said with a quiet voice. "Because you are my only friend and it have been ages since I have made someone feel better. And don't you think that you don't deserve any love, because you do," Exirian said.

Grian took a deep breath in and then out. It made sense to Grian, that EX wanted to help him, because Grian was his only friend and EX didn't want to lose him right away. But did he really deserve all of this? Grian didn't know. He himself thought that he didn't, but EX said that he did. But now Grian was too tired to think about that. For this time he decided to belive EX.

"On the top of my base there is a nature section. I usually go there if I need to calm down. There is also a few parrots and one chicken," Grian said and stood up, "You coming with me?"

EX stood up, "Of course! I have still one bottle of invisibility potion so if any hermit comes, I can just drink it." He took his helmet from his inventory and put it back.

They flew through the hole in poultry cave and then to the top ring of Grian's base. The time was somewhere around 4 am. The stars and the moon were still on the sky. If you looked closely enough, you could see a little tint of golden light on the horizon. It thruthly was a beautiful view.

Grian and EX sat down on the grass at the top layer of the base. A chicken ran straight onto Grian's lap. Grian chuckled and started to pet her. "Rosie! Sorry, it's been a while since I've checked on you or your parrot friends," Grian said. He looked at the direction of Exirian. The parrots had went to EX and all of them were now looking at the strange man. One of the parrots was brave enough to fly on Exirian's shoulder and EX gave the parrot a head pat. But poor EX didn't know, how much Grian's parrots loved head pats and now everyone of them wanted head pats.

Grian just laughed at himself as EX were struggling with the parrots and continued to pet Rosie. After a few minutes, Grian's eyelids started to feel little heavy. Rosie had already fallen asleep on his lap. Grian tried to stay awake, but it was hard. Soon he drifted into a peaceful sleep.
