"So, it's been a while, I guess? How's it been going for you, (L/N)" He asked me, once again changing his tone. Actually, I didn't know how to respond. I kinda just wanted to hear about his life. I dunno, he just seems so new, yet so- how do I say this?

"Uuhhh, you know what. Not much has changed. Same friends, same interests. Yknow. Actaully, I'd like to hear about your life! New team, eh?"

"Mhm, yeah we actu-" Kageyama suddenly got cut off, and this short, ginger-haired boy with a bubbly attitude came next to him. He kinda just barged in. He was so short, was he really on the team? Woww, next to this kid Kageyama looked like a damn giant. That has gotta be a childd-

"Hey, Kageyama! Coach said we're trying a new drill and there's going to be a gues- wait, who's this? Another team manager??" he said. I don't really know who this person is, but he's so happy and joyful. Makes me wanna laugh at him. Really, I can't help but wonder how Kageyama hasn't yelled at him. Back in middle school he would get so pressed, and I can't help but wonder if that has changed.

"Shut up, Hinata!" Kageyama said, embarrassed. Why is he embarrassed? I dunno, but looks like I called it!

" Their name is (L/N), they're an old friend of mine.  Anyways, (L/N), I gotta go. But, maybe we could hang out some time, eh- to catch up?" He was sorta blushing, but I brushed that off because he's always so awkward about saying genuinely nice things.

"Uh, okay! Cya!" I said with a faint smile as he was walking back. Man, what a day. I looked back at my phone, and finally opened it.

I went to messages, and was going to text my mom to pick my up. Right before I laid my finger on the "H" key, I remembered something. Do I still have his contact info? I went to the search button, and laughed. Yeah, I have him. And better yet, I have his contact as "Milk Boy". Pfffftttt, I held my hands around my face trying to hold in a laugh. I probably won't text him, though. That would be awkward if he knew I still had his info. I'll just pretend to put it back in when we meet again.

Next Day, By The End Of School.

"Aha, okay, cya (Y/N)" My friend laughed, and waved goodbye. Speaking about friends, I'm glad I already had some at this school. I mean, what would I do without em!

I walked down the stairs to where the humanities program and classes were, to register. I think this is the right room, at least, because the instruction that lead me here were pretty vague. I passed by a girl with blonde hair. She looks like she would go to a gifted program, right?

Suddenly most students were walking the other way. Wait, what? I though there were plenty of kids who registered the same day as me. Suddenly, due to my bs luck, I bumped into someone.

"(L/N)? Uhh- What are you doing here? Especially after school. Don't you have different classes?" Kageyama asked me, as he helped me stay on my feet. Huh? Doesn't he know about the registrations and stuff?

"Oh yeah, I know it's not my classes. I'm coming down here for the class programs? I cannot seem to find them though..." I felt so stupid. Was I wrong, or what?

"Pffttt, wait aha, those are by the front of the school, ya idiot!" He said with a slighty confused tone,  but I could tell his smug-ass he was about to laugh at me.

"Waittttt- what. But the woman- she didn't - uhh- would you mind, if you could walk me there? Aha, I uh... Don't really know my way around here. "

"Yeah, okay. How could you get the directions wrong, tho? Like, isn't that pretty simple...?"

" Oh shut up, just take me there would you?" I replied. I was not in the mood to explain myself.

We walked to the front of the school, and I filled out the paper forms, with Kageyama standing beside me, looking off to the distance. The man by the booth handed me a light blue slip for my parents to sign.  I quickly shoved it in the pocket of my jeans, and turned around.

"Alright, I'm done with that. I though it would take longer, though. They probably left all the personal info for my mom to fill out. Anyways, why did you stay, Kageyama? Don't you have things to do?"

"Oh, actually I uhhhh... though we would hang outta bit to catch up with each other? " He said, trying to look away.

Wow, he is such a softie. Who knew that would ever be a thing, a Kageyama that actually cares about someone. "Actually, that seems pretty good. Where to?"
