Fast Love (Kageyama x Reader)

Chapter 10

I woke up, and it my daily routine. As I put my coat on, I just remembered, oh yeah, I have to deal with the relationship thing..

I ran downstairs to eat my breakfast. Each spoon of cereal I ate, I did it nervously thinking what today will be like. Awkward..? Nah, I'll try and make it fun....somehow.....

As soon as I was finished, I realized.......I am not prepared for today. I cracked my hands and gluped. Let's just get through today....

Meiko walked up behind my chair, and commented on my facial expression. "What's up, and why are you looking all shooken up? Oh, I get it, you're excited to see your ~boyfriend-"

"Shut up Meiko!!" I snapped back at him. 

He shook his head. "Tsk tsk tsk, you're too easy to read." He shrugged and walked off to go ask mom about some signature.

I sighed and brought my bowl to the sink. As I washed it, I had the urge to spray Meiko with the water, but I'm too good for that. Although he was annoying, he was totally right. For somebody who studies the emotions, signs, and mental state of a human, I suck at hiding them. That's gonna be a total obstacle sooner or later.

I sat down and looked around on my phone for a couple minutes. All of a sudden, I heart a knock at the door. I looked at the top of my phone and saw the time. Oh god- I better get walking to school!

I got up from my seat, but before I could get anywhere I heard my mom say, "Hey (Y/N), you're ~boyfriend's~ here!"

I tilted by head in confusion. Wow, that timing was hella convenient. But, why? And why'd my mom have to be so teasy?

I looked to my right and saw my brother, leaning on the wall with a stupid smirk on his face. His face is just so....punchable!

I ran up to the door that my mom walled away from, and got my bag. I opened it to see Tobio.

"Hmm? What're you doing here?" I asked, pulling my bag up.

"Oh, uh...I thought we could walk to school...uh-" he said.

"Wow, you're estimate of when you should come is awesome. So, let's go!" I said, walking in front of him. 

As we got off the porch, I saw him looking down at his feet. We started walking along the sidewalk, and for a minute or two it was pretty quiet. That's discarding all the children playing in the backround.

"Hey, you should tilt you're head up more." I said impulsively to him, as I looked at his body language. 

"You think so?" he said, still looking down.

"Mhm. It shows confidence, and body language is pretty important to most people." I replied, still looking forward.

"Ah, I see." he said, tilting his head up. "....So, there were actually a couple of second-years on my team, the one you saw yesterday...Did you see anybody familiar from your classes?"

"Hm, not really. I was really only watching you..but I think I recognized a few, yeah." I tilted my head to him. 

"Cool." he said. Looking at him, I saw his deep blue eyes. The type of eyes that someone could get trapped staring at. They were very pretty, I wish I had eyes like that. His stance too, I'll admit he's pretty charming at first sight. 

As we were walking, there were two tall men by us, one of them freaking out. The crazy one was just about bald, but he looked shorter than Tobio. Next to him, was another shorter dude. He had more of a calmer presence, and had darker hair.

"Whaaat-? Is that Kageyama with a chick?"  The bald one said, with high emphasis on chick.

I tilted my head in confusion. Do they know eachother? Hm, wait! I'm pretty sure I've seen this person not just in my class, but in the practice. That makes way more sense. I brushed my hair back, like a less exaggerated Debby Ryan.
