Food Date

Jungkook Pov.

My chest wont stop pounding! This must be normal, I just asked if he wanted to go eat. That's it! I'm just being shy. Jimin is too cool and I dont want to say something dumb in front of him. That would be embarrassing. I sneak a glance at Jimin. I could just see the top of his head and lips puffed out. I smile. "You need help with your grocery bags, Jimin?" I say with a little worried chuckle.

"Oh no..I'm ok" Jimin says looking up and giving me a warm smile.

I give a not so convinced look. Then I looked down and grabbed one of his bags.

"Uhhh- I just said I didnt need help!" He said with a little wine.

"I mean you have more bags than me. It's fine, I'll carry it" I said with a smile hoping for a smile back. He looked up and gave a little embarrased nodd.

Later...

We walked into the ramen place, ohhh and did it smell amazing. We sat at a nice booth near the window while we sat across from eachother. "Have you been here before, Jimin?"

"Hmmm I dont think so." He says looking around trying to recall the small ramen shop.

I gave a little nodd, "Its pretty good. You should try the beef one" I said with a small smile. After that the waitress came and asked for our orders. I gave mine while Jimin gave his.

"I'll try it, hopefully it doesnt dissapoint" He says looking at me jokingly while putting his little hands together to look intimidating.

I try to hold back my laugh, but fail. "It wont." I say with a little wink. He smiled back. While, we were waiting for our food the waitress came and served us our ramen and beverages.

"Thankyou!" We both say in unison. I stared at Jimin waiting until he takes that first bite wondering if he would like it or not. Then he eats and I see a glow. And I smirk. "Disappointed?"

"Mmhmm" He says with a huge shake and a muffled response. "So good!!" He says melting by the flavor. I smile and begin to dig in. We enjoyably laughed and talked. We finished with our meals and continued to talk waiting for the waitress to come back with the bill. She comes and I take the bill right away.

"Hey!" Jimin says with a pout while crossing his arms. "I'll pay!" He tries to grab the bill of my hands while I chuckle and try my best to keep it in my grasp.

"Nuh Uh. I'll pay. Its fine" I said getting my card and putting it inside the booklet.

"Fine I'll pay next time" He says sulking back in his seat. My eyes glow a little, a next time! I smile the biggest smile my face can yield. This is the beginning of a great friendship!
