Chapter VI: Potential Suspect

I was having a pity party when I heard my brother's voice so I get up in my bed and run downstairs and there he was. He smiled when he saw I was home, I looked behind him and I saw Tamarah she waved her hand at me awkwardly.

"By the way this is Tamarah" my brother said.

"Your girlfriend?" I signed to him which made him suprised and taken aback by my question.

He just nodded his head and looked awkwardly I smiled and hugged him tightly and I looked at Tamarah who keep smiling awkwardly at me. I walked towards her and signed to her.

"Welcome to the family. Please treat my brother well, he can be a little bit childish sometimes but I can assure you he is a good man"

Tamarah looked at my brother demanding him to translate what I just told her. I can be stupid sometimes I didn't know she doesn't know sign language. My brother laughed a little and put his hand on my shoulder.

"She was welcoming you to our family. And asking you a favor to take a good care of me. Sophia I'm not childish" he said I just roled my eyes and signed to him.

"Yes you are!. Treat her well brother you know Natalie. If you hurt her sister, she will hurt you back and it's more painful"

My brother let out a chuckle and nodded his head I looked at Tamarah who is still clueless what is happening right now. My brother noticed this and chuckled a little.

"Sophia is mute. She used sign language to enable to communicate, that's the reason why your sister Natalie insisted to learn it because she doesn't want to make my sister an outcast"

Then I saw Tamarah teared up a little and gesture me to come with her I walked towards her and she hugged me. After a few minutes she gently tore off the hug and looked at my brother.

"You are so sweet to take care of you sister. If I'm in your situation I will do the same, you are so lucky to have her"

She looked at me and hugged me again. Dude why everyone treating me like a baby?. Does she knows I'm 27? Sometimes my brother forgot about my age so he was treating me as if I'm only a minor. I just roled my eyes and we have breakfast together while eating my breakfast I received a text message from Natalie. I opened it and I was shocked what she told me about.

After reading Natalie's message I get up on my chair and run upstairs to have a short bath and make myself decent atleast. Then after finishing my routine I run downstairs and get my purse on the cabinet. I was heading out but my brother stopped me I looked at him and he begin to ask me.

"Where are you going?" He signed to me

"Roseline's house. Natalie said Roseline's in trouble. I'll see you later I just need to make sure she was all right" I signed to him

My brother just nodded his head and signed again.

"Take care of yourself"

I let out a sigh and just nodded my head. I head out and begin to run towards the train station. I was too occupied I did not hear someone calling my name behind. Then I was snapped out in reality when someone tapped my shoulder. I looked behind me and I saw William smiling at me. I stopped and bow my head and returned his smile then proceed to run towards the train station but before I get further he held me in place and forced me to look on his direction.
