The upper moons have been summoned. Upper moon five gyokko made a snarky comment on how the mere thought of upper mood three's death made his heart skip a few beats. Then upper moon four, hantengu started the go off on how this year was unlucky.

"Hey, biwa women. Has muzan-sama arrived yet."

Asked akaza to the women.

"He has not."

"Then where is upper moon one? There is no possibility that he could of been killed."

He Asked another question to the women. Before she could answer, a male voice butted in.

"Hey hey, hold on a minute akaza-dono! Aren't you going to show some concern for me?"

Spoke douma with a smile on his face. He continued to speak as he grabbed onto akaza's shoulder.

"I was super worried about you guys! You're my precious buddy. I wouldn't want aaaaaaanyone to die."

He said in his fake sing song tone of voice. Before upper moon two could continue gyokko spoke.

"Heyo douma-Dono!"

"Hey hey long time no see! Is that a new pot I see? It's so pretty!"

Said the blond haired demon. Still holding onto akaza. Akaza stopped listening for a bit while they talked about growing women's severed heads or something like that.

"Move you arm."

Akaza said before punching the rainbow eyed demon. Which in turn caused upper moon 2 to compliment his punch, saying all these things about how he got stronger.

Bullshit, he's so annoying. Why can't those useless demon slayers kill him already.

Akaza thought as he gave the other demon a glare. A feminine voice broke the short silence the 6 of them had.

"Upper moon one is here. Upper moon zero hasn't arrived."

Akaza looked over to a secluded place in the labyrinth, only to see upper moon 1, kokushibou. Sitting there, looking away from the rest of the moons.

"I... am here.. muzan-sama, has arrived."

Startling the four other moons, they looked up to the ceiling. To see muzan experimenting with chemicals, yet putting that aside he looks so different to when they all last saw him. His attire was different, more resembling someone in yakuza. His eyes looked more reptilian like, and his hair was styled different.

"Gyuutarou is dead. Upper moon zero isn't here as well, what a disappointment."

Muzan spoke,not even batting an eye to the demons. His voice was stern, but it was easy to understand.

"Ah! I'm so sorry about that, I was the one who introduced him here. Do you want my eyeballs as an apology?"

Douma's face still had the same smile as it did moments ago, it was almost as if nothing could phase him.

"I don't need your eyes, I knew he would lose. As I suspected, Daki was holding him back."

Before anyone could say anything, muzan continued.

"If he had been the one fighting in the first place he would of one. He could of just poisoned them, what an idiot. It doesn't matter anymore."

The Demon lord still had not even glanced at his underlings, he was too occupied with whatever he was writing in his book. Something about the experiment he was conducting.

"Worthless. He had too much humanity, so he failed. But that's fine too, I don't expect anything for you guys."

"Oh you're talking about the sad things again. Has there ever been a time where I failed you?"
