Run away

"Leon, please-" Hiro begged with his hands up in front of him trying to calm the other down. The only sound being his sniffling and the pounding rain surrounding the two. "Come home."

Slowly, the other shook his head, keeping the gun he had in his hand aimed onto the other. "That's not home." He cried. "That never was home!" He screamed. "I don't have a home." He lowered his voice and slowly turned the gun around and held it to his own head. Hiro screamed.

"Wait!" He was too scared to move, he didn't want to provoke the other, he didn't want him to blow his own head off. "Please, put the gun down and talk to me." Tears flowed down his cheeks next to the droplets of rain falling from his hair. "Come home, with me. You don't have to go back there you can be with me!" He proposed. He could see the gears in the others head turn as he considered the offer. 

"I know you hate it there, I know you hate that house, I know you hate your family, I know they treat you like crap and I know you want to get away so please! Please! Please- just come home with me. So I know you're safe..."

Tears filled the others eyes and the gun fell out of his hand as he fell to the ground sobbing. Hiro was quick to run to the other, kicking to gun far from them before wrapping the other in the tightest hug and hoisting him to his feet. He sobbed loudly into Hiro's chest as he held him tightly.

"I'm sorry."

Hiro kissed the top of his head. "Don't be, I'm just happy you're safe. I missed you so damn much don't ever run off like thay again!" He ordered, tearing up again himself. Leon nodded and hugged him back, holding on as though his life depended on it.

"You're freezing." Hiro commented, pulling away and taking off his jacket and wrapping it around Leon who only had on his classic white T-shirt with red tye dye skull.

"Thanks." He muttered holding it tightly around his shoulders, enjoying the familiar scent. Hiro nodded and placed a hand on the others back and began guiding him forward.

"Let's go, I'll take you to my place, get you a shower, some clean clothes and something to eat. I'm assuming you haven't eaten since you left?"

Leon shook his head, Hiro sighed.

"That's been days Le... You have to be starving." He opened the passenger side to his little beat up car and got Leon inside before shutting it and walking around and hopping behind the wheel.

"You're not going to tell anyone are you?" Leon asked quietly, Hiro sighed.

"I have to tell the police and your parents I found you. They've been looking for you constantly and putting out ad's and flyers for you."

"Shit." Leon hissed quietly. Tears began returning to his eyes. "But what if they make me go back?" He sniffed.

"I don't know what's going to happen, but I'll take you home tonight and we can have the night to ourselves before I report that I found you OK?" Hiro suggested as he started the car. "Does that sound good at least?"

Leon nodded, knowing that was probably all he could get for certainty. As they made their way to Hiro's apartment Leon leaned his head against the cold window holding Hiro's jacket close to him. He watched the trees whir past and let himself become mesmerized by the passing scenery. He hadn't had any good sleep in almost a week and he was tired as shit so it didn't take long until the warmth from the cars heater and the jacket, along with the feeling of safety he felt whenever he was with Hiro both let him go and fall into a hard, deep sleep that he had been lacking for so long.
