"I cannot believe I signed up to this." Leo spoke from underneath Harry's invisibility cloak. The two walked through the snowy courtyard as Harry had the great idea of just sneaking to Hogsmeade under the invisibility cloak. "Do you want to go to Hogsmeade or not?!" Harry harshly whispered, Leo's face scrunching up. "Of cou-" Leo yelped as George linked arms with him, Fred doing the same for Harry. The twins dragged Harry and Leo away, the two struggling under the cloak. "Clever, Leo, Harry. But not clever enough." Both twins spoke in sync, Leo almost falling over.
"Ow!" He yelped, quickly making sure the Mandrake leaf was safely placed on the roof of his mouth before swallowing slowly. It's been 2 days since he first put the leaf in and it hasn't been all bad. Eating was difficult and Leo hadn't exactly told anyone but McGonagall of course, partly not being bothered to and partly not wanting to tell them just for fun. During mealtimes, the Golden Quartet would stare at him weirdly and shrugged as they thought he was only earing slowly because of his powers. However, with each swallow, Leo had to make sure his leaf and food were separated, deeming eating to be harder than he imagined.
"We'll show you two a quicker way." The twins spoke in sync again, Leo tripping up as they dragged Harry and Leo inside. "Stop speaking in sync! It's scary!" Leo shouted slightly, controlling his eyes as he did. "Now, Harry, Leo. Come and join the big boys." The twins ignored Leo as they placed Harry and Leo on the wooden staircase. Leo grumbled as he stood next to Harry, fixing his hair, "Now what?" He spoke, Fred and George laughing at him. "What are you doing!" Harry spoke harshly, both twins wasting no time in shushing the boy. "Yeah, shut up Harry." Leo spoke, Harry glaring at him slightly.
Leo stared at the folded parchment, George placing it in Harry's hand, in pure confusion. "What's this rubbish?" Harry asked, Leo nodding. "What's this rubbish, he says." George told Fred, Leo tilting his head. "It's literally just parchment, mate." Leo spoke, adding on to Harry. "It's literally just parchment, mate, he adds." Fred told George, Leo's face dropping in annoyance. "Stop that." He warns, going ignored as the twins 'introduced' the parchment. "That there is the secret to our sucess." Fred spoke, Leo raising his eyebrows, unimpressed. "It's a wrench giving it to you two." George added on, Leo laughing slightly. "Yeah, right."
"We've both decided your needs are greater than ours." Fred spoke, Leo putting a hand on his chest sarcastically. "Oh my Merlin! Thank you!" Leo spoke, pretending to wipe tears as George laughed at him, the two making eye contact before they both smiled at each other, Harry interupting the wholesome moment. "What do you mean?" Harry asked, Leo looking at Fred. "George, if you will." Leo looked to see George with his wand out, placing it on the parchment. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." George spoke, Leo's face dropping when words started to appear on the parchment, Harry doing the same.
"Messrs Mooney, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the Marauder's map." Harry read out, Leo's eyes lingering on the 'Wormtail.' He was confused by all the names, or nicknames, trying to figure them out. "We owe them so much." George spoke, Leo hitting his shoulder. "And why's that?" Leo asked, smiling at the Twins. The twins gave Leo and Harry a look to open it before Leo took the Map off of Harry, opening it to see an ariel view of Hogwarts in red ink. Footsteps trailed around the photo, labelled names following them. "This is Hogwarts." Leo spoke, Harry nodding.
"And that, no." He spoke, both boys looking up at the twins. "Is that really-" Leo asked, pointing to Dumbledore's office before he was interupted. "Dumbledore." Fred spoke, both twins looking at Leo smugly. "In his study." George continued, both Leo and Harry's heads switching between the two. "Pacing." Fred spoke, George smiling as he finished the sentence. "Does that a lot." He finished, the four looking at his footsteps. "So you're saying this map shows-" Harry asked, Leo nodding as he was rather excited about this now. "Everyone." Fred spoke, Leo tilting his head happily. "Everyone?" He asked, George nodding.
