Leo trudged silently to breakfast with Dean and Seamus the next morning, the two being worried about him immensely. Ron and Harry had already left for breakfast without Leo to meet up with Hermione, Dean and Seamus waking him up. Dean jumped when he saw the large bags underneath the boy's eyes and the large scratch going down his eye. Not to mention the little scratched on his arms and legs whilst he was getting dressed. It was also concerning how many times Leo was wincing when he had to stretch anyway. Dean and Seamus both stared at Leo as the three walked in silence.
"So," Dean started, the three walking through the corner to get to the Great Hall. "Hm?" Leo asked, turning to look at Dean. "Did you turn into your Animagus form yet?" Dean asked, the three walking into the Great Hall, Leo not bothering about the glares. "Oh yeah. Did it last night." Leo spoke, Seamus' face scrunching his face up. "Well, what was it?" He asked, the three sitting down. "It wasn't a rat, I'll tell you that." Leo spoke, Dean laughing as Leo smirked slightly, taking some bacon off the platter. "Wow, Leo. That's a lot of food." Dean nervously laughed, seeing round about three english breakfasts piled on Leo's plate.
"I've got two to feed now, Dean." Leo spoke simply, Seamus laughing. "You sound pregnant!" He exclaimed, Dean laughing along with the boy. They're laughing died down when they realised Leo wasn't laughing with them, "Uhm, anyway," Dean started, Leo looking up at him, his mouth full of Bacon and sausages. "What is the animal Leo?" Dean asked, Leo smiling as he swallowed his food. "Come here." The boy spoke, Dean leaning towards the boy as he whispered an incoherent word in Dean's ear. The boy leant back, his mouth wide open as he was speechless, Leo laughing slightly. "What is it?" Seamus asked, leaning forward.
His reaction was quite the same, although he just had to shout whilst Dean kept quiet. "You're joking?!" The boy shouted, a lot of people looking at the three, shaking their heads at Leo. Hermione's gaze lingered more than Ron and Harry's, scanning over the boy's injuries. "What's wrong with Leo?" She asked, Ron shrugging. "Who cares?" He spoke, Hermione hitting him hard. "Ow!" He groaned, Hermione smiling. "You deserved it, I care about Leo." She spoke, Harry looking up. "As much as I hate to admit it," He spoke, his friends looking at him. "I can't help but care a tiny bit." Harry spoke, Hermione nodding as she finished her food.
"Let's go and see what's wrong then!" She spoke, quick to get up and walk to the three boys, her smile faltering as she saw Leo eating so much. Harry got up and followed reluctantly, Ron having to follow also as the two sat opposite Leo, Dean and Seamus as Hermione sat beside Dean. Leo didn't seem to notice as he kept wolfing down his food, Dean and Seamus noticing the three right away. Dean hit Leo's shoulder as he snapped his head up, bacon hanging from his mouth. "What?!" He whisper shouted, Dean pointing towards Harry, Ron and Hermione. Leo went still as he scanned over the three. "Hi!" Hermione spoke, waving as Leo looked at her confused.
"What do you lot want?" He asked harshly, putting more food on his plate to everyone's shock. Hermione hit Harry's shoulder as he rolled his eyes, sighing. "I'm sorry. I just over reacted with the news last month." He spoke, Leo looking at him curiously. "What? I apologised." Harry spoke, Leo nodding slowly. "Yes. You apologised." Leo spoke almost carefully, Dean smacking the back of his head. "Yes, Leo. He apologised, well done." Seamus and Ron laughed as Leo pretended to pounce at the boy, Dean yelping. "Anyway," Leo put his cutlery down as he leaned forward, scanning each of his friends one by one. "I'll forgive you."
Hermione let out a sigh of relief at Leo's words. "Only if," Leo put his index finger up, everyone looking at him once more. "He tells me what I did to hurt his feelings." Everyone turned to Ron as his face scrunched up in confusion. "What?" He asked, Leo leaning forward towards him. "You've treated me worse than Harry has, Weasley. Why?" Leo asked, everyone watching as Ron stuttered. Leo started to laugh, everyone looking at him. "I'm kidding! I know it was only a 'I'll stand up for my bestie' thing." Leo spoke, eating another piece of bacon. "I do forgive you though, Harry," Leo swallowed his food. 'I am also sorry for making you hit your head on a rock." He spoke sincerely.
