~Few Days Later~
Your POV
It's been days since we've last seen Optimus. We stopped for a bit but then all hell broke loose. Those people attacked us when we were fixing Optimus up a bit. We found an abandon gas station with some stuff. We changed our gear to normal clothes. Sides put on a gray flannel, a pair of brown jeans, and a pair of boots.
Hide put on a red flannel with a white tank-top under it, a pair of jeans and a pair of boots. And I put on a (F/C) flannel, a pair of (Favorite type pants) and a pair of (S/C) shoes. Once we finished changing, we took a car from a parking lot to drive somewhere. Few days later, the car broke down.
So we walked to a town we were close to. As we walked in. Sides had a cap on his head. We wandered around the town. When we walked down an alleyway. There was a group of 4 guys. There a buff guy with dirty-blonde hair and a beard. Another guy with a bunch of tattoos. The third one had a knife on him. And the last guy looked like the leader of the four. They smirked at us. Sides crossed his arms, while Hide glanced at them. I looked at them, annoyed.
"Hey sweetheart. Why don't you come with us? We're much better then those two." The leader says, with a flirty smirk
"No thanks. Their better than you four combined." I tell him
"Help me out boys." He tells the other three
The other three head towards us. Sides and Hide step in front of me. The buff guy grabs Sides by the collar of his shirt, slamming him into the wall. The other two gang-up on Hide. I look at both of them, before the leader of the three pinned me to the wall. Holding my arms above my head, while stroking my face with the other hand.
"Get the hell off me!" I growled at him
"Oh, I like feisty ones." He smirks at me
Before I could do anything. Someone says something.
"Hey! Did your mother's ever teach you manners? Let the girl go and leave them alone." He says
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say old man. Just get lost." The guy holding me says
I look at the guy at the corner of my eyes. He took out a bat and grabbed the leader from me. Then bashed the bat behind the guy's legs, making him fall to the ground with a thump then shoved him into the wall.
"I said let her go and leave them alone." He growled at his face
As one of the two from Hide, grasped the guy from behind. Mistake, because this guy punched him in the jaw, throwing him backwards into the ground. The other two looked at each other, then grab their buddies and ran. If they had tails, they would've been between their legs. I fix my clothes when Sides and Hide came towards. The guy looked towards us, then extended out his hand.
"Hi, my name's Cade Yeager." He says
I look at him, while Hide and Sides look at him. The guy's eyes widen. He knew who I was.
"Your (Y/N) (M/N) (L/N) from the battle in Chicago." He says in debrief
I pull out my Buck knife and aim it at him.
"So what if I am? You're not going to call me in are you?" I ask
"Hey, whoa, slow down, kid. I'm not gonna hurt you three." Cade says, holding his hands up
I glance at Cade.
"How can we trust you?" I ask, while Cade flashed a smile at us
"If I wanted to, I would've done it by now. Look I don't live far from town. And we sure as hell know you three won't make it around this parts. I'll keep you safe." He tells us
I look at Cade, Hide and Sides look at me. Waiting to see what I'll do.
'He doesn't seem dangerous-No. What did Optimus day!?' I thought to myself
Just the thought of Optimus made me tear up and look down, dropping my Buck knife. I felt Hide wrap an arm around my waist. Sides put a hand on my shoulder, giving it a squeeze.
"Hey, (Y/N). You okay?" Cade asks
I nod my head, looking up. While wiping my tears away. Hide and Sides gave me some space.
"Yeah..." I choked up, as he extended his hand out to me again
"As I can see you three been through some shit. Let me help you." Cade says
I met his gaze before looking at his large hand
"Why are you doing this? And why did you save us before?" I ask, as he smiled
"I wasn't gonna let those hurt you and your friends, and it's the least I can do for someone like you. Now come on." He says
I took his hand, as he shook my hand
"You three good with machines and well, inventing stuff?" He asks
I laugh a bit as Hide and Sides smiled
"I mean I guess. We can Hotwire any kind of vehicle pretty damn good." I tell him
"Prefect. You three can be my helpers." He says, leading us to his blue old Chevy truck
"Partner?" I ask
"I did tell you I'm an inventor didn't I?" He says
I pause for a moment before nodding. We get in his truck as he drove to his place.
3rd Person's POV
Cemetery Wind hunted down an Autobot. Once they injured the Autobot. Lockdown came over to him and killed him, when he wouldn't tell Lockdown where Optimus Prime was. What Lockdown and Cemetery Wind didn't know, was the Autobot activated his holoform and escaped. Looking for his friends and family. Somewhere.
