Mellinda P.O.V

Octavia, Lincoln and I rush to cut Bell down and as soon as he is free of the ropes we embrace each other tightly as tears stream down our face
"I thought you were dead" I say
"I thought you were too, how did you escape what happened?"
"Let's get back to our camp first then I'll explain everything"
We walked back to camp holding hands tightly as Bell and Octavia catch up a bit
We all sat together in a silence almost not knowing how to explain everything.
"It was an infection, the metal that cauterised my wound had rust in it and the infection had spread to my blood so I went in a coma... apparently I was in a coma for a week after you guys gave me to them to heal me.. when I gained consciousness they explained everything and seemed alright but they never let me leave, I noticed rooms they wouldn't let anyone in. It's a whole civilisation in there Bell, people who survived the blast and couldn't go outside without special suits because of the radiation.... one day they brought me to a room where Octavia and Lincoln were, they were mad you tried to rescue me but 'forgave them' we planned an escape for over a week and finally got into a room and crawled through their air vents which we knew led to a filtration room which then went outside. We knew no one would be there because they couldn't be near the outside air even in a filtration room.... we found something along the way though.... grounders... hundreds of them in cages being used for their blood... we tried to help them but they were taken somewhere else and we were lucky we weren't found.... we got outside but after we opened the door there was a loud alarm so we just ran and ran and kept running... we found this place and have stayed here since. We set up traps and Lincoln trained us and we went looking for the group but never found any sign of you.. we assumed the mountain men killed you all" I take a death breath reliving the last few months

Bellamy P.O.V

"After Octavia and Lincoln didn't return we went in hiding but they never came so we went on the run, we never found any sign on you... I went walking one night and got myself lost. I just kept walking really and then wound up in your trap... I'm not sure how far I walked but i don't care, I don't care where we go or what we do I just want to stay with you Mel... and thank you Lincoln, for keeping my girls safe" I say
"Mm" Lincoln grunts back
This world is crazy, this life is crazy. I don't know what's gonna happen now... do we try find the group? Do we stay together just us? As long as I'm with Mel I don't care. I'm never losing her again
