AN: This chapter is pretty intense, there's a running theme of suicide, so please read with caution. If anyone ever struggles with something similar, just know our DMs are open for anyone :)

"E-Ellie..." The boy stutters quietly as he approaches her, the sound making her jump slightly.

As she flinches, her foot stumbles over the edge and she shrieks loudly, her heart beat increasing.

The taller one panics, instantly dashing forward slightly to try to grab the girl before she can slip off of the side. He stumbles, desperately trying to grasp at the girl's collar as she falls backwards.

Luckily he manages, dragging her away from the ledge before grabbing her limp body and cradling her in his arms, both of them shaking. That may or may not have been the scariest moment of Fred's life, Ellie inches away from death whilst Fred. . . Fred had to witness it. They both sit there completely stunned. The younger girl's mind is still blank, however she can make out the faint sobs coming from behind her, as she feels Fred clutch onto her tighter. It seemed like she didn't want to be saved, which made him completely nauseated.

Ellie sits there still for a second, before coming back to her senses, and shoving the boy off of her with a sudden harshness. She shuffles away until the pair are sitting a few meters apart. Some part of her wanted to be alone during such a low moment of her life. Another? Needed comfort more than anything. All she wanted was someone to tell her that everything was going to be okay.

The girl wipes her puffy eyes before looking over to the boy as he sobs, body shaking almost as violently as she was moments before. She feels a twinge of guilt before her feelings grow cold and numb again, her gaze travelling back over to the ledge.

She goes to leave the tower, before Fred tries to stumble to his feet, failing as his legs wobble and collapse.

"Fred, be careful." She says, slightly alarmed as she goes to help him.

"Be careful? Says the girl who nearly fell a hundred fucking feet!" Fred shouts, a mix of fear and anger in his voice as he stands up on his own, now towering over the girl as she flinches.

"Don't yell at me." Ellie mutters angrily, pushing him away from her slightly before she goes to storm off.

"Where are you going? We have to talk about this!" Fred says loudly, trying to follow her out before she stops, pushing him away as he gets close to her again.

"Leave me alone." She mumbles, attempting to leave again before Fred grabs her arm. Even though the move was gentle, with no aggression behind it, it reminded her far too much of Draco.

It all felt far too familiar from the taunting she had previously received, her heart racing just by the slightest touch. The girl's face pales drastically as she desperately attempts to get out of Fred's grip, the boy immediately loosening up once he sees the state she's in.

"D-don't touch me." Ellie whimpers out.

"Shit El, I-I'm sorry, but you can't walk away from this. You nearly..." Fred hesitates, voice cracking and he fails to say what nearly happened, not wanting to face the truth as tears still run down his face.

"Jumped?" Ellie questions deadpan, making the boy sob at the thought.

"No I didn't Fred, I wasn't going to jump." She mumbles before trying to walk off again, however Fred seems unconvinced as his tears carry on flowing.

Ellie hesitates, looking back at the boy as he cries desperately. Her eyes soften slightly, before she sighs.

"Darling please don't leave, I-I love you. Talk to me!" Fred pleads with her, desperately trying to get her to open up, or at least go near him.
