the boys settled in with their meal that was bought by jeonghan and the others. laughing, they talked about-random things. they chattered as well about how the group ended here in the first place, which was quite a topic to be talked about. and they all decided to finally go home. half an hour or so, then they have arrived back at the city."ah. so this is where we end our trip, huh?"
"end? semester break is literally a week and a half more before it ends. which means, theres more time for us to do some shit!" jeonghan joked, throwing his hands up-denoting the large time of leisure they still all had. "hell yeah!" hansol joined in. "well, i guess this is goodbye for now hehe." seokmin chuckled in a smile as always. "yep! then ill see you guys tomorrow." soonyoung winked.
"tomorrow?" mingyu asked. "yeah. we're going to school! well-sneaking." junhui mischievously whispered. "huh-?"
"oh maybe we forgot to tell you. its been our tradition of sort to like uh-hang out at that rooftop in the campus. know that? we just-found it like a kind of gathering place." jihoon answered, this time. "oh i see." wonwoo nodded. "wait, you know about the rooftop?"
"yeah. why?"
"well uh-" mingyu sweats nervously, as he might have left some papers that was written something on it for the long time he had spent there. "theres even some assholes who left trash there-like crumbled papers. meanies." jeonghan grunted, rolling his eyes derisively. "o-oh yeah. those uh-meanies ugh." mingyu spoke awkwardly. "anyways! ill get going, its getting late too hehe."
"okay! we'll get going too! stay safe and goodnight everyone!" soonyoung hopped about, grabbing jihoon by the wrist. "bye!" jihoon waved as the two made their way on the streets-towards their houses. "ill get going too! catch ya later alligator!" junhui childishly ran over the streets with jisoo who shook his head on the side. "bye everyone! stay safe!" seokmin said, grinning. hansol, seokmin, and chan-too had left off. "bye hyungs!"
"well, i guess its time for us to go then too, huh gyu." minghao chortled as he faced wonwoo and mingyu who were the ones left on the dark street that was only lit by the tall lampposts.
"i guess so hehe. we'll get going, wonwoo-hyung!" mingyu bid farewell to the
boy who was stun by the night sky itself. "o-oh yeah! bye! stay safe and have a good night." wonwoo broke into a wide smile, waving.and yet here he is, staring at the clouds that were even not to be seen from the darkness the night produced. but he still found himself looking way above the sky. minghao who walked with mingyu, noticed that the boy looked back at them as he stared. "ehem. whered that flowers came from by the way?"
"h-huh? oh these-well um, i-i got them from, someone."
"someone aye." minghao gave mingyu a roguish smile, receiving a slight punch on his abdomen in return. "stop it hao!" he yelled with furious eyes. "i was joking!" minghao said in defeat. "you better be." mingyu grunted in a pout. "heh. now come on mr. grumpy." he sort of babied the boy, walking towards their house. "thats jihoon-hyung! im beanpole."
"oh whatever." the two continued to joke on and on until they have arrived on their own homes. wonwoo still, was left amongst the bright moon. no one knows why he kept wandering his eyes around, or either hovering over the streets. he sighed, and yet sat on the sidewalks as he admired the two boys from a distance-then mingyu who looked back at the boy and noticed that he sat lonely, giving him a smile for wonwoo who was afar. yet his ethereal smirk was to be seen.
how are you even a person, mingyu? you deserve so fucking much than this cruel world. you deserve, much more than me.
aimless thoughts continued to pour onto wonwoo's head. not noticing even how long he stayed sitting beyond the dark night. pondering on the indiscriminate amount that streamed on wonwoo's head-alas, he had then chosen to finally walk his way home. "i guess its time to call it a day. sigh." he murmured as he tucked in his hands to his pockets.
"and i guess, its time to completely come to my senses to tell him. and fix-everything."
