Chapter 17

JENNIE POV

"I just want you to know that you're having a solo debut." CEO Yang said.

My heart stopped when he said that. I just stared at him.

"A what?" I stuttered. "Solo? Me?" I was so shocked.

"Yes, I think you're ready, Jennie."

I don't know what to say right now. Like, oh gosh, I've trained for so long, wow, it will be all worth it.

"You're okay? Are you happy?" He chuckled.

"Of course, I do!" I stood up and hug him. "Thank you for this opportunity."

He hugged me back, "You deserve it, Jennie. Your manager will inform you about everything."

"Does the girls know?" I pulled away.

"No. Not yet."

"Can I tell them?" I pouted.

"Sure! Of course, you can." He assured. "You're going to get very busy for the next few weeks so you should probably tell them."

Does this mean that Lisa and I can't spend much time together?

I nodded to him.

"You should leave, I think you have so many things to do." CEO Yang expressed.

"Well, yeah. Thank you again, Mr. Yang.", I bowed down.

I was about to open the door when he spoke,

"Jennie, what's with Kai?"

I froze. What did he say?

I looked at him, "Uhm, it's just rumors.. you know." I smiled

He nodded, "Well, I'll vote for Kai than Lisa." He grinned.

What the heck? I stared at him in confusion.

"Just kidding. You should go." He sat down in his chair.

"Yeah, thank you again."

I left the office immediately. Well, that joke isn't funny.

I still can't believe that I'm going to have a solo debut! I can't wait to tell this to the girls!

I followed the guards and Manager Unnie and I can't see my Lisa.

"Unnie, where is Lisa?"

"She already left, Jennie. She's doing a photo shoot for a brand." Manager Unnie told me.

"Oh.."

I quickly checked my phone and I got a text from my Love 19 minutes ago. My mood suddenly changed and it made me smile!

Hey hon, I'm sorry I didn't able to say goodbye to you. I'm going to have a photo shoot for a brand. I will see you later, okay? And please tell me what CEO Yang told you. I'm eager to know. Also, I was about to pass out when CEO Yang talked to me earlier. But, thank God, I didn't say anything stupid! Haha. Let's talk about this later, alright? Be careful and eat your lunch. I love you so much, Nini. <3. I miss your kisses. Hihi.

Aww, Lisa gave me butterflies in my stomach without even trying! I love this girl so bad. I was already typing back when the guard spoke,

"Let's go, Jennie."

There are paparazzi outside the building, waiting for us to come out. I was alone right now, I want to hold Lisa's hand. The two girls were at the hotel, I think. So I just didn't pay attention to what the paparazzi are asking me.

Finally, I hopped inside the van. I was the only person who sat in the back seat. Manager Unnie was in the front seat.

"Where are we going?" I asked her.

"To your producer. You're going to have a meeting with them." She informed me.

"Wow, really?" I shook my head, still in shock.

"Yes, congratulations Jennie." She smiled.

"Thank you, Unnie!"

I grabbed my phone and I'm really excited to tell Lisa about the opportunity that YG gave to me. But, I decided to tell her personally.

Hello, my love. It's okay, just please take care alright? Andddd I have big news to tell you later!! I'm on the way right now to the studio. Did you eat already? I still didn't eat my lunch yet but I have a snack here with me. I love you, baby! We'll talk later okay? Can't wait to kiss your lips again, my love. <3.

I locked my phone and I looked up at the sky. There's too much blessing I received in my life right now. But the most favorite blessing that I've ever had is Lisa. She filled the emptiness of my heart.

I already arrived at the music studio and I met my producer. We just talked about the idea and the genre of my song. Wow, 'my song'.. It feels kinda weird because I'm alone at the studio. I'm used to be with the girls whenever we're here.

Then, I proceed to a solo photo shoot for a brand and magazine. This day was a very busy day for me. I want to feel Lisa's hug.

When the director gave us a break, I immediately checked my phone and of course, I got a text message from my baby.

Hi, baby. I'm sorry for the late reply, I was so busy today. I'm already here at the hotel, what time are you going home? It's 9 pm already. Please take care, alright? Can't wait to hug you! I love you, Nini!!!

It feels like I lost my fatigue when I read Lisa's text. Oh, Lisa, you make my heart so full!

Hi, hon! We're almost finished, I think? I really want to go home.. I'm so tired today, I want to kiss you and hug you. Wait for me okay? I love you, Lili! <3.

Then, suddenly, the director called me again to start the photoshoot. I just want this to finish.

It's already 12:47am, we were already on the way home. I'm excited to see Lisa again. I checked my phone to update her that I'm on the way but I received a new text from her

Lisa:

Hello beautiful! It's already 11:06 pm. Did you eat already? If not, I have a food here in my room. Please be safe! I miss you and I love you my Jennie <3.

Jennie:

I'm on my way home now baby! And yes, I already ate dinner because the staff ordered a food for us. I hope you already ate your dinner too. Please wait for me, don't go to sleep yet. I love you! I'm almost there, hon.

Our van already parked in the basement of the hotel. I quickly hopped out of the van and went straight to the elevator.

"Jennie, tomorrow you have a fan meet okay. No sleepovers for tonight." Manager Unnie told me while we were inside the elevator.

No sleepovers? No way!

"Uhm, what time tomorrow?" I asked.

"You should be ready at 6am." She answered me and the elevator just opened.

I entered my room, took a shower first, and changed my clothes. Even though Manager Unnie warned me about no sleepovers, I'm going to break the rule for Lisa.

I slowly opened my door, I checked the hallway first to see if there are no people. When it was all clear, I ran towards Lisa's door and knocked.

Luckily, Lisa immediately opened it. I quickly entered her room before anyone could see me.

"Oh, hey, what's with the hurry?" She asked in confusion.

I didn't answer her question, instead, I kissed her lips and I wrapped my arms onto her neck. I feel her smile and she hugged me so tight. Oh, Lisa.. Those soft lips are so addicting.

I pulled away to gasp some air, "I freaking miss you." I stared at her beautiful and luscious eyes.

"I fucking love you, baby." She cupped my face and kissed me on the forehead.

Then, something came to my mind. I have a great idea!
