JENNIE POV

We entered the meeting room and we saw Mr. Yang, the marketing head, the director for my performance, and some of the other staff.

Fucking hell, this is really huge.

"Please be seated." The staff told us.

The three of us sat down on the couch. I was in the middle of the 2 girls.

"Jennie, why the hell did you went to Thailand?! Because of your girlfriend? Do you know how big deal this problem is?" Mr. Yang yelled at us.

We didn't say anything. I and the girls were just looking down at the floor.

"I can't cancel your goddamn solo because I already spent millions of money for it!" He exhaled deeply.

It's all about money.

"The media think that you and Lisa are dating! You followed her in Thailand without any guards, Jennie. Of course, they will think something."

None of us said anything yet. We let him continue with his freaking speech.

"And you. Jisoo and Chae. Why the heck you protect this kind of act and lied about us?"

"She's our friend," Jisoo answered in a low tone voice.

"Fuck that." He laughed.

I started to clench my fist right now. This man is such a devil.

I need Lisa, right now. I need her.

"I want to protect you, Jennie, and the face of this company. I don't want you to be involved with a lesbian dating scandal thingy. It will ruin the-"

"You can't control our fucking personal life! You already step out of the line! You only want our money! You don't really care about us!" I stood up and yelled in front of him. I can't take this anymore! I felt a tear coming down my cheeks already.

"You know.. Without me, your name will not be known in the whole world. Without me, you'll not be able to achieve your dreams. Without me, there would be no Blackpink."

I froze at what he said.

"You will follow me because your life is dependent on my hands." He added.

I shook my head, "Are you even a human?"

He giggled.

Fuck this shit.

Chae held my hand and she guided me back to the couch while rubbing my back.

"We need to do some damage control here." He said as he fixes his goddamn iconic hat.

"I already talk to the head writer of Dispatch." He added.

I glared at him.

"They will release an article about you and Kai dating." He informed us.

"No, you can't do that." I insisted.

"Yes. I can and I will."

"No! Please don't!" I can't take it anymore. I lost my emotions and started to cry.

"Well, I can't cancel your solo anymore. So, this will be the plan B." He smiled widely.

"Then, cancel my solo." I can sense that Jisoo and Chae stared at me.

"No. I won't." He shook his head.

"I don't want to do-"

"Do you want me to tell your mom about what you have done? You should've thanked me because I'm not telling your mom about you and Lisa."
