Chapter 49- Finale

Years went by just sitting in the spirit world with no one to talk to. Though now she was really old, she looked really young. Y/n patiently sat, waiting for her turn to go beyond the spirit realm. Her daughter went ahead leaving her behind, and Aang never again visited. It hurt her being alone for how many years, but at least she had Kazan for comfort.

Y/n's seen not one new avatar in site, and she waited patiently for Aang to appear. Unfortunately when he did, he didn't recognise her as his girlfriend. All he was, was the Avatar before Roku. That was when she knew he was gone, and he's been gone for a long time now. Even if it was shitty just chilling in the spirit world with her animal companion, at least things were quieter.

Y/n found ways to have fun, and by that she started to look 16, 17 or even 18. Her daughter never returned, probably forgot about her too. But she didn't mind. She was just glad Kai got the chance to leave. To see other faces.

"Oi, Kazan! " Y/n approached the once sleeping dragon with a fish in hand. "You want a bite?" Kazan nudged his way to the princess. Though his long mustache turned grey, Kazan was a healthy creature over a thousand years old. He ate the fish and lay back down as y/n joined him.

She sighed, feeling tired already.

"Excuse me, ma'am?" The words made her jump in fright! No one has visited her in so long! She turned slowly to see a beautiful woman. Her blue eyes and Water Tribe clothing gave a feeling of nostalgia, but so did her presence. The woman sat in front of her and folded her legs.

"Sorry about disturbing you," she bowed, to which y/n bowed back. "I've seen your posters about Republic City in some shrines, and I don't know if I'm right or wrong. But aren't you that one avatar before Roku?" Her question shocked y/n, but the woman responded calmly, "I am she. Why? What's up? Are you looking for Roku?"

She shook her long dark brown hair. "I was actually looking for you!" She outstretched Jer hand, "I'm Korra." When their hands made contact y/n felt her head grow light. All elements except one left her, and she stared at Korra feeling very sick. "Woah are you okay?!" Korra rushed at her, holding her head back.

"You're gonna be okay!" "I-I'm fine! I just need to, lie down!" "I-I'll go find Roku!" She shook her head, "no, don't." Before passing out.

"Wakey wakey y/n." She grumbled getting out of bed. Her head was spinning, not recognizing her surroundings. "Huh? Where?" "Y/n, are you okay? You took quite the hit to the head with that ball!" Her hand raised to her head, and the s/c girl rubbed it.

"Hmm?" It hurt like hell. "I told you, you need to be more careful! Those girls are so rough! Plus, one of them is the avatar! Didn't I tell you not to play with Korra?!" Korra? Y/n's lavender e/c eyes stared deeply into the concern deep green ones of her mother.

All memories erased.
