Percy stood frozen in shock for what felt like hours. "Are you, are you the one who's been calling me? If you are, then why? Why me? What did I do?" She questioned, all the doubts that had been roaming in her mind now exposed. "Because I'm old, Perseus. I need someone to take my place. And that someone is you" The Siren explained, though her explanation had to many blank spaces for Percy's liking. "Again, why me? Why not someone else?" "Because only you, daughter of Poseison have both the scream of the banshee and the song of the siren. No-one else would be able to continue my legacy. So, Perseus Andromeda Jackson, do you answer The Siren's call?"
Camp Half-Blood
A meeting was taking place in the greek camp. Lou Ellen and Nico Di Angelo had informed they had news about Percy, and the whole camp had rushed to the meeting as fast as they could.
"What did you find?" urged Piper.
Lou and Nico exchanged a look at the urgency at her voice. They knew the six were the most desperate for news, but that was a whole new level. She sounded at the point that she would die unless they gave her news.
"We didn't exactly find Percy, but thanks to a spell I've been practicing we were able to find that Percy was looking for a siren." Lou explained. "Why would Percy be looking for sirens?" asked a perplexed Connor Stoll. A rather pale Chiron stepped fowards, drawing all eyes towards him. "No. Not sirens. The Siren."
