(Newt POV)
I'm alone chopping up vegetables for the cooks. Falling asleep when I feel my leg jerk for a sudden moment as some kind of numbing pain explodes through it,like the Maze walls were just dropped on my leg. I let out a whimper of pain and drop down the floor,as I feel the tears in my eyes I wipe them away.
"Alby!" I call"Alby!"
He runs in a few seconds later,and leans down beside me.
"What's wrong?" He asks,putting an arm around my shoulder.
"It's hurts! My leg!"
"Let me look at it."
He touches my knee cap on my leg gently but I let out a high pitched scream.
"STOP IT!"
"What did you do to it?"
"Nothing, it just bloody broke!"
"Newt,look at me. You need to calm down."
"How?"
"Close your eyes. Take deep breaths."
"No."
"Newt,we need to get you help."
"I don't need any bloody help Alby. You are a bloody shank,letting me survive. I want to be dead,why can't you get that through your bloody head?"
"I have. And it kills me."
"Why?"
"Because I love you."
Then his lips press to mine.
