As soon as she apparated back to 12 Grimmauld place, she was instantly pulled into the kitchen where everyone else was. When she finally registered what had happened, everyone was looking at her with wide eyes making her very irritated."What?" She snapped angrily.
No one said anything except for Snape who motioned to her cheek. Alexis confused, touched her cheek and brought her fingers back down to look at it. When she looked at her fingers they were covered in blood.
"Oh shit," Alexis mumbled quietly under her breath making sure no one heard. She quickly apparated into her room and made a small fire in her trashcan while taking off her gun and daggers. Taking off her jacket, she threw it into the fire along with the rest of her clothes.
Jumping into the shower, she rubbed off any dry blood that was on her fingers and face.
As she was drying herself, she could hear yelling downstairs in the kid's rooms before a crack resounded through the walls and the room went silent for a while before conversation struck up again.
Alexis put on an old football jersey and some leggings before heading to the sink and taking out a first aid kit from her bag.
"Putain." Alexis looked at the wound and saw that it was cut deep, meaning it needed stitches.
She took out rubbing alcohol, poured it on a towel, and sanitized the skin around the wound, biting her lip hard to refrain from yelling at the burning pain seeping through her skin. She then cleaned her hands and began stitching. While trying to stitch her own wound, Alexis tried to make out what the kids were talking about.
"Oh, hello Harry! I thought I heard your voice." Alexis guessed that it was the youngest Weasley talking.
Alexis had finished her stitches and placed everything back to where it was before heading down the stairs.
She was about to pass Walburga's painting when she was stopped.
"Oh, my Merlin Alexis dear." Rolling her eyes she turned around to face the painting. "What happened?" Walburga asked in a motherly voice.
Alexis shrugged, "I got in some trouble." Before she let Walburga answer, she made her way down into the kitchen to find dung bombs near the door, meaning they tried to get in but there was a spell on the door.
So instead of going through the trouble of removing the spell on the door, she decided to apparate into the kitchen. With a loud crack, she appeared in the kitchen in front of a fuming Molly Weasley who most likely thought it was her sons.
"Woah, just wanted an apple," Alexis said picking up an apple from the fruit bowl.
"Oh sorry dear," Molly said before snatching the apple out of Alexis's hands boldly. "You can wait a couple of minutes, dinner is almost ready."
Alexis shrugged and took a seat at the table. "What did I miss?"
"Nothing important," Snape said in a monotone voice.
She finally looked over at the professor to see him unblinking and staring straight at her. About 2 seconds later she felt something prodding at her brain asking to be let into her memories.
She was amused for a while until the poking got rougher and rougher. At this point, she was mad and looked directly into Snape's eyes using her own legilimency to bring a memory up from his past.
Apparently, she went too far because he stood up abruptly and slammed his hands on the table causing everyone but Alexis to jump. She had a knowing smirk on her face when she looked up at him.
"You had no right to do that," He snarled, pointing an accusing finger at Alexis. Everyone around them was confused except for Mad-Eye who was watching the whole mental duel that went on.
"Maybe you should learn to stay out of my head—" Alexis started picking at her nails like she was bored with the conversation. "Snivellus."
That sent Snape over the edge and he swiftly took off from the table and headed straight for the doors. While back at the table, everyone was shell-shocked at how Alexis got such a reaction from Snape. Alexis had a look of mischief in her eyes but kept a straight face, different from the cocky one she had on earlier; Sirius was trying hard not to laugh while Lupin turned a light pink.
Molly broke the silence by saying dinner was finally ready.
Most of the members of the Advanced Guard left, not being able to stay for dinner although Molly insisted.
While Alexis, Tonks, and Lupin were locking the door, Molly went up the stairs to call the kids down for dinner. Tonks left to go help Molly prepare the plates while Lupin was at the dinner table leaving Alexis at the front door locking the last bolt.
When she turned around, she saw the Weasley clan and The Golden Trio staring at her. "Dinner's in the kitchen, I'm sure Molly is ready for you," Alexis said smoothly and cooly.
They stood there for a good 2 seconds when a loud crash came from the kitchen followed by Molly scolding Tonks.'
"I'm so sorry I didn't-" Suddenly Tonks was cut off by loud screeching and wailing making everyone cover their ears.
Moth-eaten curtains flew open revealing a painting of an old woman screeching and wailing. Sirius and Alexis stormed up the stairs. Sirius tried closing the curtains but it wouldn't budge. Alexis made it in front of the painting and instantly the woman shut up.
"Oh, my dear Alexis. How-"
"Quiet," Alexis said harshly before waving her hand in a closing motion causing the curtains to close and cover the painting once more.
Alexis let out a loud sigh before turning on her heel and heading into the kitchen with everyone else behind her, Harry was more confused than ever, and a certain Weasley twin had his eyes on her the entire time.
