Alexis sat on a bench in the courtyard holding multiple pieces of parchment and a quill in her hands. She was beginning to write a letter back to her friends at home but didn't really know what to write. After a couple more minutes of thinking, the teenager finally came up with something.

Dear The Seven Aces,

I know you're probably wondering why this came by owl. Just know that it was just an experiment I was trying. How are you guys?

It's a bit boring here in Scotland, without Adryan and Abriel's bullshit. I would never admit this in person, and if you ever bring it up to me in person I will kill you myself.

Also.....

I miss you guys, whatever the future holds, I wish you guys the best of the best.

Sincerely,

Alexis R., The Seventh Ace.

She folded up the letter and tied it to the owl's leg before sending it off. She sat there for what seemed like a very short time before the owl came back.

Alexis untied the poorly done knot and opened up the letter.

Dear Alexis,

We wanted to know what kind of experiment you were holding! The owl seems awesome. We are doing well, although Analia and Ashton seemed to take the worst impact on you leaving. All of us were so scared when Helio showed up and started talking nonsense, but we are glad you wrote to us!

OH! Funny story, Ashton practically had a heart attack once seeing the owl. He was so pale haha.

We miss you too, don't talk like you aren't going to see us again! We all know Analia will unleash her inner beast if you leave forever. Besides, University is always there!

Sincerely,

                   Aviva Beckett,   The Sixth Ace.

A single tear made its way down Alexis's face. The first tear she shed since Aramis died.  It was a pain, not knowing if she was going to make it back or not. Not knowing if her life would ever be as simple as it was just a few months ago.

Wiping her face quickly, Alexis glanced at her watch and saw that it was time for the class with Umbridge.

She made her way back into the castle and made a pinpoint direction towards the Defense Against The Dark Arts classroom. She caught the eyes of the Trio, and simply gave a nod; to which they returned.

Alexis also caught the eyes of Draco Malfoy, who averted his eyes towards the floor. She headed over to an empty chair in the far corner of the room.

Personally, Alexis had a certain bad bone with Umbridge. She never liked her and vice versa. Umbridge was usually the name she heard when she was trying to get Aurors off her ass.

Umbridge looked up from the papers on her desk and finally saw Alexis sitting in the corner. "Excuse me, What are you doing in my classroom?" Umbridge quipped in a shrill voice.

"I'm attending class, What about you?" Alexis asked twirling her wand between her fingers quickly. A few snickers could be heard throughout the classroom, and Alexis looked up at her with amusement twinkling in her eyes, although the rest of her face remained stoic.

Umbridge looked away from Alexis's eyes and finally started the class, making the teenager lean back in her chair in success.

"Well, good afternoon!" she said when everyone settled down. A few people mumbled a short and quiet "good afternoon," in reply.
