It was now September 1st. There was so much noise and commotion in the house as everyone quickly tried to gather their things and pack them all. Mrs. Weasley was heard across the house yelling at the twins for trying to set up another prank before leaving.

Alexis watched as people came and left the kitchen, picking up something or grabbing a snack. They gave her a brief wave or hello but left shortly after. Sirius came into the kitchen with a loud sigh.

"Look Black," Alexis said with her hands behind her head and eyes closed. "If you wanted to say something, spit it out already."

Sirius looked taken aback at her bluntness. "I wanted to ask something."

She hummed a response. Before Sirius could start his next sentence, a loud ring filled the room. Sirius jumped out of his seat in surprise while Alexis calmly opened her eyes and pulled out the flip phone and answered it in front of Sirius who was looking at it intently.

"Hello?" Alexis answered with a tired voice.

"Riddle!" The voice screamed from the phone just loud enough for Sirius to hear; he flinched upon hearing the last name.

The teenager let out a sigh and pulled the phone away from her ear and pressed decline. About a second later the phone rings again.

"What do you want Lidia?"

"It's Helio."

Alexis just let out another sigh and picked at her nails with a bored expression.

"He hit his head hard while getting something on the ladder and now he's in the hospital." Sirius let out a gasp at what he heard and looked at Alexis.

"What does telling me have to do with it?"

"I heard that he owed you a favor." There was silence and Alexis narrowed her eyes and leaned forward towards the table. Sirius was trying to listen in on the conversation the best he could. "I was wondering since he's in a coma and all you could obliterate that."

"No."

"Why not?" The woman said in a whiny voice. "It's not like he can do you a favor or pay you while in the hospital."

"Then you pay it," said Alexis with a small huff.

"WHAT?" Screamed the woman into the phone loudly. Alexis pulled the phone away slightly but brought it back to her ear once more.

"Lidia. It's common sense. Besides you're the one who got him into the mess. Be the one to get him out of it." Sirius stared at the girl sitting in front of him in disbelief.

"Do you not feel guilty about this Riddle?!" Lidia asked frantically.

"Guilty?" Alexis gave a short chuckle that contained of only sarcasm. "Why would I feel guilty? It's not like I was the one who pushed him off the ladder."

"I—"

"And it's not like I was the one who got my brother into debt," Alexis said fixing her silver watch that laid on her right arm.

"Riddle. Please."

"Begging now Lidia? That's pretty low for a Gr-"

"Okay okay! I get it. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have called."

"Then why did you?" Alexis leaned back into her chair. "If you knew my answer, why did you call in the first place?"

"I thought I could change your mind. But I guess children of monsters turn out like their parents someday huh?" Alexis suddenly stood up from her chair with a certain fire in her eyes while Sirius looked at her with wide eyes, trying to figure out what she was going to say next.
