The teenager left her room and walked down the corridor; her head held high and arms at her side, swinging with each step she took. She glanced at the silver watch on her wrist while walking down the hall, the hands showing a time that was definitely past the time that was agreed on.Once the girl got to the Great Hall, she pushed open the double doors and stood at the opening. The whole hall went silent as she entered at a slower pace than before. A smirk played on her lips as she stared directly at Dumbledore, who had an amused shine in his eyes. Alexis looked at the staff table and saw that most of the teachers gave her respectful nods except for one lady dressed in pink, Umbridge.
All of the students were separated by colors but still had on the same grey sweaters and black robes, unlike Alexis who had on black ripped jeans, a white shirt and a leather jacket with the sleeves rolled up. She stuck out amongst all of the kids, it especially didn't help that 2 out of 4 of her tattoos were showing; her collarbone tattoo and the tattoo behind her ear.
"You're late," Dumbledore said to her from across the hall, getting the teenager's attention.
Alexis shrugged. "At least I came." Dumbledore smiled at her and motioned towards an empty seat between Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape. She nodded and made her way towards the table.
As she sat down with her cold expression, whispers started up. Looking over the hall to see who she recognized, she started with the Gryffindor table. She recognized Harry, Hermione, Fred, George, Ginny, and Ron. Next to them a couple of seats away were 2 boys whispering and pointing at Harry.
She moved onto the Ravenclaw table and noticed someone who had the same shimmer in her eyes as Analia. Minerva saw the curious teenager staring at the blonde girl and leaned over to her. "That's Luna Lovegood." Alexis tilted her head to the side at the name but moved onto the Slytherin table since she had recognized no one at the Hufflepuff table.
Once bringing her eyes over to the Slytherin table, she noticed fearful looks on most of the older pure-bloods. One fearful face that intrigued her the most was the young Malfoy. He looked like he was ready to get up and leave the hall.
Most of the Slytherins had fear in their faces while the younger ones looked rather confused. She never really liked Slytherin since her 'father' was in it, but she knew that if the hat was placed on her head that it would yell 'Slytherin' or possibly Ravenclaw; but who knows.
Dumbledore broke her out of the daze she was in with a roaring announcement.
"Ladies and Gentleman. I would like to introduce you to Alexis!" Dumbledore said pointing towards the girl that was sitting next to Snape and McGonagall with a bored expression. When Dumbledore only said her first name, multiple students began whispering once again.
"She will be here for the whole year. You may see her around the castle and even in some of your classes, so do try to make her feel welcome." Dumbledore clapped his hands together and had a huge grin on his face, "Proceed." He gestured towards the food on the tables.
Alexis placed food on her plate gingerly while watching over the students once again. While eating a few mashed potatoes, she looked up after feeling multiple eyes on her. The lady met the eyes of some students who immediately looked away.
The topic of conversation was either: "Who is she?" or "Harry Potter is lying."
She had figured out that many people had believed he was a liar. That You-Know-Who was not truly back and that he was hysterical and only doing it for attention.
'I wish he was hysterical. Then I wouldn't have to be here.' Alexis glanced at Harry and raised a brow. She turned her attention back to her food and played with it for a while.
