chapter nine || third pov
time skip to the next day at training ground.
naruto had a rough morning, a very tough one at that. he awoke at 3 in the morning from a horrible nightmare consisting of his grandfather and itachi, he had killed them both.
to make it worse, itachi was on a mission at the time, pulling naruto into a full blown panic attack and not getting any sleep at all.
his black and red hair was in a small pony tail, along with baby hairs falling along his creamy skin, his violet blue eyes slightly dull, and lilac bags under his beautiful orbs.
he was now wearing a white and grey kimono, a golden cross necklace and also a gorgeous gold ankle bracelet with his steel sword strapped to his left side and his nails painted white and grey shinobi sandals, all in all he looked gorgeous (a/n a reference picture at the bottom)
realising that sasuke had already left, naruto groans rubbing his eyes before disappearing in a white flash, appearing in training ground seven, seeing sakura fawning over sasuke, him being unbothered as always, the senseis weren't there yet.
"hello sasuke" greets the violet blue eyed boy in his usual emotionless tone, making the two other genins shiver at his voice.
"hn (hello naru-chan)" says sasuke to his bestfriend, ignoring sakura who is yet again trying to ask sasuke out.
after 20 minutes itachi and kakashi finally arrive at the traning ground. the older uchiha scans naruto slowly, noticing the bags under his eyes and the distant look in his eyes, taking a mental note to talk to him about it later.
"YOU GUYS ARE LATE!!" screeches the banshee loudly, making everyone's ears bleed horribly.
"please make her shut up" groans kurama inside narutos mind "she made me wake up" he growls loudly.
mentally chuckling the uzumaki listens to kakashi explaining the bell test, to naruto it was quite obvious that the test was about team work, after all there are no two genin squads, it was common sense.
"now, itachi will have the bells while i watch" finishes kakashi after his explaining of the test "3...2...1 GO" he shouts, resulting in the genin disappearing.
naruto pov ||
concealing my chakra perfectly, i jump into the bush and begin to search for sasuke and sakuras presence.
sasuke had hidden his chakra pretty well, but it was still a tiny bit noticeable, but i taught him well. sakura wasn't as horrible as i thought, however it was much worse than sasuke.
deciding getting the brooding emo to work with me would be a piece of cake, i teleport to him, making him jump a little.
"the test is about teamwork, follow me we need to find sakura" comes my emotionless statement, resulting in the youngest uchiha nodding slowly.
grabbing his shoulders i shunshined (a/n i still have no clue how to spell it so that's just how it's gonna work) to where i felt the banshees chakra.
"oi pig we need to work together" i state bluntly, in which she turns around and almost starts screaming at me but i luckily in time grab her mouth, covering it so she doesn't.
third pov
naruto then proceeds to explain the whole plan to sasuke and sakura, where in sakura will distract itachi and sasuke will pretend that HE will be the one grabbing the bells, however it will actually be our sneaky kimono lover.
(a/n i suck at writing fighting scenes but basically they do it, but naruto replaces the bells in a very very strong genjutsu so he doesn't notice)
"you guys didn't get the bells, hn" informs the long haired male, staring at the three genins, however noticing the malicious smirk on his narutos face.
'wait i just refereed to him as mi- what' he thinks to himself but quickly dismissed it.
"no" he emotionlessly says before undoing the genjutsu, shocking kakashi.
"how?" he questions, his one visible wide staring at the young genin.
"stop acting like your stupid kakashi-sensei, i'm sure you know how and why" reply's naruto yawning lazily.
"well you all pass, meet us tomorrow" the grey haired man says eye smiling, before disappearing in a poof of smoke.
itachi walks over to naruto, smiling softly before speaking up quietly "why do you look so tired, what's wrong?"
grabbing the black haired males arms naruto pulls him into the woods, tracing his thumb over the older uchihas stress marks "you need to stop juggling everything at once, you're very stressed" he says to him, in his very rare soft voice.
"you ignored my question" states the onyx eyed male, staring down at the younger.
"i had a nightmare.." gulps naruto "i ha-had to kill you aswell...so when i woke up and you weren't there.. i had a panic attack i guess" he says slowly, looking into the olders eyes.
"i'll be with you tonight, make sure to get sleep" itachi replies softly, pulling his secret love into a hug, smiling fondly.
'such an angel' he thinks happily.
chapter end heyyy!! sorry it's a bit short but i'm getting there, this is along the lines of what naruto wore.
