chapter ten || third pov.

"pervert, point a, target not found"

"hn, stoic point b, target not found"

"...duckbutt point c, target not found"

"banshee point d, tARGET not found"

"naruto?" asks kakashi through the ear piece, earning no reply.

"NARUTO YOU BAKA REPLY" screeches sakura impatiently, making everyone's ears bleed in dis interest.

"i have the cat hn" reply's the male in his infamous emotionless tone, walking towards the group, tora the demon cat was laying in his hands calmly, much to everyone's suprise.

"h-how?" asks the silver haired jonin, shocked at the fact that his student somehow has the cat in his hands, without her scratching the living shit out of him.

"magic" he reply's lazily, walking past them and making his way towards the hokage tower.

"LET ME HAVE HIM I BET HE DOESNT WANNA BE WITH YOU" the annoying pink haired girl, if you can even call her that, screams, attempting to grab the cat, earning several scratches in her face.

"hn" naruto stares at her unamused 'she really thinks she's great huh' he questions kurama.

"i want to kill her" the large fox deadpans within his minds-cape.

'oh how i wish i could dance with her' he laughs evilly within his minds-cape, imagining her blood.

"sadistic bastard" the fox grumbles.

'like you can talk you lazy furball'

"fuck youuu~" he sings in reply, making the boy scoff in disapproval.

when they arrive at the hokages office naruto doesn't bother to knock, just kicks the door open with his left leg, making the two other genins on his team shocked at how 'disrespectful' he is.

"hello jiji" he says to the third kage of the leaf, eating looks of disapproval from iruka, who was in the room, and sakura and sasuke.

he hands the cat over to the owner and sweatdrops at how she handled tora 'no wonder the cat ran away' he thinks as the lady leaves.

"NARUTO YOU BAKA!! DONT TALK LIKE THAT TO THE HOKAGE!!!" she screeches, loud as ever.

"hello naruto-kun" says hiruzen, ignoring sakura, earning shocked looks from the people in the room who don't know about naruto always calling their kage 'jiji'

"naruto, do no-" iruka starts to lecture but is cut off when the hokage tells him it's okay, so he decides to shut up, not thinking too much of it.

"i have baby sitting, weed picki-" hiruzen begins listing d ranks but is cut off by narutos scowl.

"i am not doing any more of these pathetic d ranks, atleast a C rank would do good jiji" he says emotionlessly, but you can hear the tinge bit of annoyance in it.

"hm, itachi, kakashi?"

"i think they can do it" says kakashi politely, not wanting to face the genins wrath if he declines, even though he knows they can do it perfectly.

"i agree hokage-sama" itachi backs up, stoic as ever.

naruto looks over to the oldest uchiha, taking in his long silky black hair, and his eyes. as much as he hated to admit it, he was glad that the elder bothered to get to know him.

but he also knew that itachi would never say 'i love you' back. he loved izumi, but she died and naruto doesn't want to ruin that.

he remembers what madara said to him when he asked him what love is.

flashback.

little naruto runs up to his grandfather, earning a look of confusion from the older male.

"what is it naru-chan?" he asks gently, picking the dark blonde up onto his lap.

"oji-chan, whats love? what does it feel like?" asks the little boy, getting comfortable on madaras lap.

the spiky black haired man gaped his mouth for a second before giving his rare smile to the boy, madara only smiled this much around naruto, and the younger was happy about that.

"you see naru, love is something that fills a hole in your heart. in this accursed world love is sometimes difficult, your lover dies, they can leave, or they can stay. but when you find someone you truly love, your heart and brain will tell you to not let them go, you will feel butterflies in your stomach, and when you're around them, you will naturally feel happier and more calm. if that person were to ever be in love before you, then you would need to give them some time, it is not always perfect. rejection is a thing, but remember naru-cham, there will always be someone perfect for you, love is not a curse, it is a gift. if you get rejected, ever, then know that there would always be someone out there. if you can't let that person go, then love them silently, even if it hurts, you should love them until your heart lets go."

flashback end

so naruto will love itachi until his heart lets go.

"okay send him in" the old man says to the anbu at the door, and immediately the masked ninja open it, and a very drunk looking male appears.

he flares his arms up in the air and begins shouting, his sake bottle in hand "these kids are supposed to protect me? a useless pig look a like, a brooding emo, and emotionless idiot?"

naruto immediately throws three kunai, one at his sake bottle, smashing it, the next past his cheek, cutting it slightly, the last across his greyish hair, making some fall out, all of that happened in three seconds. the room went silent.

"you are pathetic to assume what people are at first glance, if you say that about us, then i can say whatever i wish. you look like an old drunken hag who does not know any manners. you are lucky i do not wish to dance with you right now." he says calmly, but anyone dumb could tell, that the voice was deadly, terrifying.

the old male shivers under narutos glare "dance?" he asks.

"he refers to a fight as a dance." informs itachi emotionlessly, like all uchihas.

"naruto don't kill the client" sighs the third hokage at the scene "this is tazuna, the bridge builder, you are to escort him to the land of waves and protect him."

"yes i'm the almighty bridge builder" the man now known as tazuna says proudly, pointing at himself.

"hn"

"meet me at the gates in an hours, now shoo" says kakashi, now reading his icha icha book, before disappearing.
