Mituna Captor (pre-accident)

Your name is MITUNA CAPTOR. 

You are apeshit bananas at psionics, and you beat ALL THE HIGHBLOODS. All of them. You are unthreatened by your cerulean friend's telepathy and wisecracker moirail's chucklevoodoo. And though your humble achievements such as defeating the fuchsia heiress in a low stakes psionic battle have not gone unnoticed, you like to bring them up three times a day. It's a point of GREAT RETENTION IN YOUR SOON-TO-BE-MISERABLE LIFE. You have been aware of a terrible event in which you will lose these powers since you were hatched. You naturally gravitate towards doom. Your BIFURICATED eyes serve as a CHICK MAGNET though they're always under your THICK HAIR that no one will EVER FUCKING raise a pair of scissors to.

Your chum-for-brains kismesis likes it, but pretends it'd be better cut so he can STEAL THE FUCKIN BICTHES. You aren't interested in a-one of them really. Your eyes are for the GREATEST HELMSMAN IN HISTORY ONLY.

Sadly, it is not you who will become one. It's you.

Your witness to the daughter timeline must halt. You will resume watching when you are with all your friends in the after life from playing a mystic game called SGRUB. There is not much to say on the matter, as choices are nil and the moon calls. Your trolltag is theticAnnihilation and you tend T0 P534K W1TH R3F3R3NC35 T0 Y0UR P53C14L1TY 4ND 1NT3LL3CT.

Ok so, that was my attempt at an introduction. I've wanted to dive in to Mituna's character for a while now because I honestly enjoy his presence in Openbound. It can be offputting to some (he's a living, breathing 4chan reference) but many others seem to love him.

Before playing SGRUB, Mituna Captor was the greatest psionic on Beforus. He was slated to be a helmsman since he was 6 sweeps and picked on a lot of his friends with hilarious pranks. Unlike his dancestor Sollux, he was never shy. Quite the opposite, in fact. He only didn't like women.

His kismesis, Cronus Ampora, would tease him from time to time, but otherwise no one cared. Porrim tried to talk to him about avoiding her. He was heterosexual and exclusively involved with men. This was not too bad, as he still respected Meenah as a leader.

He collected an array of slurs from his best bros (Cronus, Rufioh, Kurloz - Horuss didn't curse and Kankri would nEVER-) and talked with them when they hung out. His brain damage didn't cause him to start using slurs because there is no type of brain injury known to do that. Tourettes cannot make you weave slurs in to a sentence in a logical manner like he does in Openbound 2. It did, however, make him use them more erratically and inappropriately. You can argue his oddball usage of slurs are accidental and he really does mean to apologize, but he says em.

Kankri avoided him like the plague. Latula used to want to join his all boys nights. Kurloz was a dangerous figure who tried to mind control him and failed everytime.

Rufioh didn't mind the guy. Horuss, Aranea, and Meenah always disliked him for some reason they couldn't explain. Cronus, of course, was his kismesis and his bestest bro. Damara did not speak to him as with Meulin and Porrim, although her reason was because he could be a total dipshit who was too full of himself.

These relationships sustained for many sweeps except Kurloz. They went from rivals to friends to moirails before the start of the game. Kurloz replaced Cronus as his bestest bro and it was he who offered to be his server player.

(Sorry these notes are so unorganized)

Mituna was growing out his hair in an extensive emo phase. He bifuricated his own tongue with self piercing and still looks like a Good Charlotte concert gone wrong. He feels confident about his looks and doesn't let nay-sayers get to him.

As his time to stop the doomedest timeline of them all came, he spent his days curling into Kurloz's arms. No one believed him and he was angry and upset, but swore to protect his friends, knowing it would mean they'd never figure out what he saved them from.

His accident caused lapses in memory, psionic function, and fine movement. He relied on Kurloz (now mute) for care and erased almost all of his memories with Cronus. (Something Cronus suspects Kurloz did)

He wasn't a bad guy, but you don't have to like him because of that. These are non canon speculations on his character. Leave your thoughts and opinions!
