By the time we were at Juleka's house, I was ecstatic. Kitty section decided to run a practice performance in front of the rest of us, as they were quickly approaching their next concert. Marinette showed me a video of their most popular performance to give me an idea of what they sounded like, but very quickly I realized how much more lousy their performance had gotten since their first one.

"Hey, are you guys tired or something? I can make you guys coffee," I was trying to send a hint to them that they weren't giving as much energy as they could.

"I think we are fine, thank you though!" Rose spit out and everyone quickly agreed.

They played a few times more times, and I knew something was off. This time, I was not so subtle about it.

"You guys sound... Off. The sound isn't full. Here." I took Luka's guitar and strum a few chords in the way he was playing it, and then I strum them with more pressure. The sound wasn't louder, it felt like it filled the space more.

"And Rose- you should give your voice more of a base. It sounds pretty screechy."

Everyone seemed offended with any of the advice I gave them, except for Luka.

"Thanks, I am sure we will sound awesome now!" Luka chimed in after noticing everyone else's reactions.

"Come on guys, let's just go to bed," Most of the members of Kitty Section stumbled away with Rose.

"Come on, we were gonna play Mario Kart!" Nino sighed looking off the boat.

"Here, the rest of us can play," Marinette passed out controllers to anyone who wanted one. She passed me a brown controller and gave me a quick run-down of the controls. I was not the best at the game, but I always managed to not be last.

"Hey!" Alya laughed as Nino raced in front of her.

I played a few more rounds and I quickly realized how upset Rose was about the comments I made earlier. I decided that I needed to go talk to her.

"I will be right back," I told the group, and I headed off into Juleka's room. I braced myself before entering and I noticed Rose talking to Juleka. As soon as Rose saw me, her face immediately became disgusted.

"What do you want?" She did not even turn to face me when she spoke. I knew that I could've been nicer but I didn't think that my comment would have this type of effect.

"I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings, I was just trying to make your band better. Please forgive me, Rose."

She sighed and began to make her way to me, "I know and I am sorry as well. But I really want to be alone right now." I nodded and followed her wish by walking out of the room silently. When I walked out, someone was waiting for me.

"I am really proud of you for apologizing. It takes guts to do that you know," It was Luka.

"Well, I must have done a pretty bad job then because she still doesn't want to talk to me," I felt disgusted in myself.

"You apologized, there is nothing else you can do. Rose will come out soon. Come back and play Mariokart with us." I reluctantly followed him to the living room where Alya, Adrien, Nino, and Marinette were still sitting on the floor racing. I sat in between Luka and Alya and began playing again. It was fun playing with them, but I sunk to the floor more every round due to sleepiness.

"I am going to go to sleep. I will see yall in the morning."

I found a comfortable place around the corner of the living room and positioned myself with the blankets and pillows. I began to doze off until my phone began violently buzzing. I pulled myself up and answered.

"Hello?" My voice was barely understandable, but the person on the other side of the line could understand me.

"Honey, your mother... She was...she was diagnosed with cancer."
