Warning! Contains spoilers!!! If you haven't read Eleanor and Park, WHY ARE YOU READING THIS??? GO READ THE GODDAMNED BOOK!!!!!!
So yeah. It is late. And I have just finished Eleanor and Park. But I am going to stay awake for a few more minuets (haha) to tell you what I think of the book, and to publish the other joke that I wrote a few days ago but haven't published yet.
So. First a note to Rainbow Rowell. A postcard for you. Three words.
My heart died.
That's all I have to say to you, Rainbow. You killed my heart. Are you happy now? You are the reason I lay in bed crying. You are the reasons that my dreams of a 16 year old happy-ever-after are shattered. You are the reason my cheeks are wet and my heart is aching. You are the reason I will never see young love the same beautiful way again. But I love you.
I actually preferred E&P to Fangirl. I prefer Park to Levi. I ship Parlanor (?) way more than Lath. But my current over-riding emotion is that I think that there's an unwritten contract between author and reader, and ending a book like that kinda violates that contract.
