April blossoms decorates the most of the trees in Seoul National High School. Spring has arrived with her splendor. The continuous buzz of the teens and the soft blows of wind made the school premises more alive.
Yoongi started to walk along the small path which lead to school auditorium which was covered with cherry blossom petals. The school administration has decided to add Juniors to the Student Council, to help the Senior Student Council. So of course Yoongi being the golden student in his class, he was nominated from his class along with two more.
When he arrived to the auditorium for their first meeting, there weren't many students arrived there yet. Few boys who he has seen around music room were busy talking and laughing with each other. He scanned the room with his careful eyes and spotted a boy who sat alone. Usually Yoongi likes to spend his free time alone; as much as he loves to hang out with his best friends, he prefer to value his precious alone time with his inner peace.
But that day fate has settled another plans for him.. That day fate had decided to turn Yoongi's life upside down.
Out of his habit, he let his feet guides himself towards the honey brown haired boy. He quietly sat beside him observing the boy's sculpted side profile.
"Ah! I know him! It's uh.... Park Jimin" Yoongi muttered to himself, delighted about his powerful memory. He hardly knows anything about Jimin. He's sure Jimin knows nothing about him too.
Yoongi must admit; Jimin looks very gorgeous. He is a person who can make anyone fall for him at the first glance. He has a flawless skin; tan than Yoongi, but it's an utter perfection. His full cheeks were bit rosy as the Lucky spring wind has already kissed them many times. A strand of his honey brown hair is fallen over his left eye; it made him looks like an Angel.
Lost in other boy's beauty, Yoongi doesn't noticed Jimin shifted and cleared his throat, staring at Yoongi bemusedly.
"Oh I'm sorry! Uh... Hi! I'm Yoongi!" Yoongi said bit loudly, embarrassed clearly as he was caught staring shamelessly at him.
"I know" came a soft voice and Yoongi's breathe hitched. His voice was so soft and angelic. Just like him.
"Jimin... Park Jimin" Jimin offered again with endless softness.
"I know..."Yoongi mumbled quietly, lost in the depth of Jimin's beautiful orbs. Jimin chuckled breathlessly, like a chiming bell in a snow storm. It took Yoongi's breath away. That day was indeed a miraculous day for Yoongi.
They fell in to an easy chat easily; Yoongi learned that Jimin was one year younger than him and he has skipped a grade because he is very smart student. Yoongi knows he will be offered the same offer soon; as he is too smart to be in his current class. But he hasn't decided what to do with that yet. Talking with Jimin was easier than Yoongi thought; because the talking part was mostly done by the younger.
Their little chat has stopped as the Senior student council arrived the hall. The president of the student council, who Yoongi remembered as Kim Donghae, welcomed them warmly and explained about their duties. Before they will become council members, they should train and prove their capabilities under a probation period.
The juniors will be supervised by the Senior members and teachers during that time. Seniors asked them to team up with a friend for their upcoming leadership camp. Jimin hold his hand and raised his free hand to announce they will be a team.
Jimin couldn't hide his enthusiasm about the partnering thing as he eagerly write their information in the information file. This time Yoongi watched him bemusedly, he couldn't help but smile a tiny bit at younger's enthusiasm.
"Yoongi hyung, I'm sorry I'm asking this after everything happened, you don't mind spending camping time with me right?" Jimin asked with eyes wide in fear, previous giddiness was gone from his beautiful face.
Yoongi stared at him for a moment. Making Jimin's nervousness multiplying by a passing second. Younger started pout and Yoongi couldn't wait anymore and he blurted "Of course Jiminie... I won't mind to spent it with you" giving a fond smile to Jimin.
Jimin relaxed visibly and exhaled a deep sigh. "I was scared if I had crossed a line hyung... I don't have many friends here because I'm year younger... please don't be mad at me" Jimin murmured looking at his lap, avoiding elder's gaze.
Yoongi ruffled Jimin's hair, "Don't worry Jimin-ah! Hyung will take care of you.." strangely that was the reply came from Yoongi. Not a usual "I don't care" phrase.
Yoongi was surprised too. Because it was so out himself. He rarely let people to get closer to him. It was only Hoseok and Namjoong he trust as his best friends. But seeing Jimin's beautiful smile Yoongi decides, it will worth. Just like that Yoongi let down his guard one by one for none other than his dongsaeng Park Jimin. Soon the two become inseparable. Jimin following Yoongi everywhere he goes when they're in the duties. Younger's never ending chattering never made Yoongi annoyed as other people's.
Jimin made his way to yoongi's life so easily like smooth wind of spring; shaking up his though demeanor. It didn't take too long to him become Yoongi's priority.
Jimin's laughs always reminds him of a sunshine. Yoongi found himself falling for that laugh, day by day without noticing. When they're at home their phones were always filled with countless texts, memes and silly nicknames.
Yoongi found himself addicted to younger's presence in his life. His contagious smile made his day even more brighter. But as the days passed he noticed the pain Jimin hide behind his crescent orbs. The more Yoongi observe closely the more he was proved correct. It made him worry a lot. He wanted to protect the younger at his all the cost. But he was afraid to ask the younger and hurt him.
What if he cross the line? What if jimin get angry at him? Too many "what ifs" clouded yoongi's mind every time he decided to ask the younger. So Yoongi decided to wait a little more; let the younger open up by his own. He will anything to help him. Yoongi started to love the younger more day by day. Showing Jimin that he can trust him with anything. He slowly started to fall for younger's loving words and he forgot to stop himself before it become too late.
Min Yoongi never was a weak person... But he is too weak for Park Jimin. So Yoongi let himself to fall harder with each passing second. Slowly Park Jimin has become his entire universe. With that, everything become more complicated because that love never just a platonic love... Exactly after four months they have met, Yoongi has realized his heart doesn't belong to himself anymore.
