I throw myself at it. The wall behind the elemental cracks then caves in. I slam my fists into it and feel the warmth of melted rock. It starts to panic and tries to throw me off. I slam it's head into my knee. It stumbles backwards into another wall. I tackle it and bring it to the ground. I pry open it's chest slowly. It starts to scream in pain. It just sounds like a landslide though and I plow forward. I rip open it's chest and see the stone like a heart. I grab it with both hands and rip it upwards. The creature lets out one last shreak and then disintegrates. I sit back relieved and study the heart. It is glowing green and has carvings and symbols on it. It is only about the size of my palm. It does not melt in my hands however. I find this very interesting. I dismiss my fire with great difficulty and rush to my friends. I panic and wonder what to do when I unconsciously lift up the heart. The light grows to uncontrollable levels and I cannot look at it for fear of going blind. I feel waves of healing flow across me. When the light subsides, everyone is getting up from the ground.
Taylia gets up and I rush to hug her.
"I thought you were dead." I say.
"What do you mean?"
"You were beaten half to death by an earth elemental."
"Oh, yea but I am not dead though." she smiles. I calm down a little and we stare into each other's eyes for a little bit. We are interrupted by Waluigi.
"Uh, can you explain how we are back?" He asks in an interrogation style.
"Uh yea, this" I hold up the heart "is the heart from the earth elemental. I retrieved it and it healed you all." I say.
"No... It can't be..." Darkmin rushes over and grabs the heart. "I thought they said that this was destroyed."
"What are you talking about?" I ask. Everyone else looks like they had the same exact thought.
"Waluigi, come look at this. Isn't this the very holy artifact that the temple said was lost thousands of years ago?"
"It may just be." Waluigi replies.
"What the heck are you two talking about?" Fiona pesters them.
"A very powerful healing artifact that was lost very long ago, has turned up here. We need to see Kyle." Waluigi states.
Everyone is gathering their gear to get ready to leave. Something catches my eye at the far end of the room. I walk over to the altar and see a handle. I pick it up and a crude blade is revealed from underneath a cloth.
Along the blade it states
"Only the savior of the world can wield."
I also see a shard of something. It looks broken, like there are more pieces for it.
I place both in my bag of holding and we leave to go and speak to Kyle.

The way back to the entrance we find no enemies. Big D is upset that we are done fighting. When we get to the entrance, the sand has covered the tunnel. We are trapped. Everyone finds it hard to believe and start to dig frantically. I let my mind wander to my memory. Something clicks.
"GUYS!" I shout.
Everyone turns to look at me, frantic.
"Follow me." I take off down the left corridor. They follow. I am running so they burn some of that frantic energy. In the large open room, I race past the Dragon's corps and to the opposite wall. The tanks start to lift the rubble and move it to the side. Finally, we have enough room to slide through the opening.
"I will go first." I state. No-one interjects and just forms a line. I slide into it and start to climb up. It is a gradual slope so it is an easy climb. When I get to the top I help everyone else up. When we are all up and standing a few feet away from the ledge, we take in the scenery. We are greeted with a huge cavern under the sand. An underground lake is in the middle of the cavern. A light blue light illuminates the cavern, emanating from the lake.
"CANNON BALL!!" Big D's voice thunders in the cavern as he jumps into the lake. His items are all in a pile on the side. Some others join him and I examine the cavern for exits. I find something when I feel arms wrap around my neck.
"Come swim with me." Taylia whispers in my ear. Her warm breath tickles on my skin.
"Alright." I say. I put all of my weapons in a bag of holding and placed it on the side. I jumped in after Taylia. When my head emerges from the water, I look around for her. Everyone else is on the far end of the lake. I look around and I feel hands cover my eyes. I laugh and turn around. I see Taylia in a swimsuit. It is a little revealing. I feel heat rise in my cheeks as I blush. She seems to notice and laughs. She splashes me and goes under water. I follow her and she leads me behind a waterfall. There is an underground cavern in an underground cavern, ironic. It is dark back here and I am soaking wet. I cannot summon my fire for light. I look around in the darkness when someone tackles me to the ground. It was not hard but it still surprised me. Taylia leans in and presses her lips against mine. I feel something stir inside me that has just been awakened. It cannot be caged easily.
...
"Hey guys!" I shout. It has been thirty minutes since we were behind the waterfall. Everyone was drying off with pieces of cloth.
"I think there is something at the top of the waterfall." I say. There is no way that the water just appears out of nowhere.
"We will go there now." Darkmin says. We all gear up and start the climb.
I lead, as always, up the side of the cavern. When we get to the top, we see a light coming from the ceiling. Natural sunlight.
