The surprise.

We were driving around until we ended up at a private plane hanger "we are leaving Japan?" My voice started to crack i've never been on a plane and i've never left Japan before "i'm about to give you the best day of your life" Keigo flashed a smile at me and it felt like all my worries vanished. "Ive just never been on a plane before so i'm a little scared" he took my hand "wow the great y/n is scared?!? I've never thought those words would come out of your mouth" Keigo chuckled as I punched him straight in the gut "i'm not scared lets start this shit" I walked up the stairs to enter the plane. It was so clean and cozy on the inside, there was seats and a little bed in the back with little curtains to keep it private. We sat down and I buckled my seatbelt "aw if you get scared you can always hold my hand" he said as he did the same as me "yeah yeah i'm not scared ill be just fine" whenever I lie to Keigo it feels like my whole world is crashing down, it was always so strange. The captain said we were ready for take off and I shut my eyes as the plane started to move, I could feel Keigo's gaze was fixed on me then I felt his body move right beside me. I felt his arm move towards where the window was and I felt the warm feeling of sunshine on my skin "baby bird look" I slowly started to open my eyes and I watched the window as we took off into the sky "see! It's not bad, you are okay" he wrapped his wings around my body as we went higher and higher into the sky. I fell asleep for almost 10 hours which I never thought was possible but I never realized that ever since I was a kid I never had a break from my job. I always wanted to be the best at what I did so I would never sleep, my body was so tired. As I was waking up I could feel Keigo's wings still wrapped around my body but he was asleep. He looked so peaceful sleeping, he looked beautiful honestly. I stared at him for maybe an hour until he finally woke up, I quickly turned my head to look at the window again so he wouldn't know I was staring at him he started to laugh "what's so funny freak" "my wings could feel you turn your head dummy" he patted my head and I started to blush like crazy. "We have arrived" the captain spoke and Keigo quickly got up to stretch his legs "lets start our adventure baby bird" he picked me up and ran out of the plane. My jaw dropped at the sight "are we in Italy?!" He put me down so I could feel the air around me, I started to tear up at the sight of the city. Ive never felt so happy in my entire life. "First stop is the boats" we got into another car and started to drive around until we got to the city with a river around it. Keigo tried to help me get onto the boat but I just jumped in without him. We were cuddling as we went around the city taking a bunch of pictures. We stopped at a restaurant and as we walked up to the front the host greeted Hawks "welcome back Mr. Takami and hello Mrs. Takami" my heart went to my ass as when he said hello to me. "Oh actually-" Keigo grabbed my hand "Yes Mrs. Takami is there a problem?" Keigo said cutting me off "nothing is wrong" "right this way" we walked up to the rooftop of the restaurant where we were able to see the whole city. Keigo and I joked around and ate for hours until the sun started to set "now my love, this is for you" he handed me a letter

Ive known you my whole life and i've loved you for my whole life. Ive never met anyone more strong than you. You've been by yourself for so long and you have been able to overcome everything that life has been able to throw at you. I don't know if you've noticed but i've never had a girlfriend before that's because I was waiting for you all these years. When I first met you, the first time you smiled at me I felt my whole life flash before my eyes. That's when I knew you were the one for me. I'd go through hell and back for you my love. You are stubborn and annoying (sometimes) but no matter how many times you tell me you hate me my love for you grew even more. I promised you that i'd make you fall in love with me again because I need you to feel one of the greatest experiences i've felt. I'll always protect you even though I know you can handle it on your own. Sometimes its okay to let your guard down song bird, because no matter what I will always be there to catch you when you fall. I want to be the one to open jars for you when they are too hard to open. I want to be the one that holds close at night when you have a bad dream. As I looked up after finishing the letter and tears were flowing out of my eyes. I hated my birthday so much that I even forgot it was today. But he remembered it. My whole life ive just hated everyone and anything which held me back from dating, id have little flings but it would always end because I was never able to express my emotions to others. It felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders after reading what Keigo said to me. The only gateway I had to be myself was painting but every time I tried to paint stuff they would always come out gloomy and dark. I got up from my seat and collapsed onto the ground right beside him "thank you Hawks, this is the first birthday present i've ever received. I don't know how I'll ever repay you" the words were suck in my throat as I was crying in front of him "just love me and that would be enough for me" he lifted my head with his hands and kissed me mixing our tears together. We finally left the restaurant and were waiting for the boat to come by to bring us back to the hotel. Once it came Keigo hopped in first and reached out for my hand to help me in, and for once in my life I let someone help me. We finally got to the hotel and it was so beautiful. It was the penthouse suit and it was furnished with gold accents. It looked like we were in a museum "do you like it?" Keigo said as he was turning on the lights "i love it babe" his wings puffed up when I called him babe "what's the matter bird boy" I teased him "so you wanna start now huh song bird" he came closer to me and started to kiss my neck softy "can you believe we are in Italy right now?!" He picked me up in the air and started to spin around as we both giggled "let's check the view from here" I grabbed his hand running out the doors to the balcony. I took a deep breath in as we watched the stars in the night sky "I wish I could just fly so high I could grab a star" I said as I started to lean onto the fence "dance with me y/n" Keigo bowed in front of me when I grabbed his hands he started to fly into the sky "Keigo! Wait I wasn-" "sh baby bird, just dance with me" we started to float around and danced with each other with no music "people are going to think we are crazy" "well i'm crazy in love with you" he swine dipped me and kissed me so passionately a couple of his feathers went to the bottom of my feet and helped me stay up as we made out in front of the stars.
