Kane

Kane entered Alpha Station as chancellor pro-tempo after Chancellor Jaha had been shot and was under surgery.

"How are the hundred?" he asked and Sinclair pulled up the schematics. "Two are already dead, we can conclude it was from impact," he said. "All of the wrist bands have lost connection to the responders but we can only get a heartbeat."

He looked for Luisa's name and exhaled to see her icon was still lit. An error noise sounded and a screen darkened. "What's going on?" he asked and Sinclair typed. "The bands are malfunctioning," he said. "Dying, you mean," Kane said and he hesitantly nodded.

Luisa

Luisa was sprinting through the woods, hearing quick footsteps of the group behind them and they stopped, hearing loud groans.

"Jasper's alive," Monty exhaled and he started running in the opposite direction until he tripped. She followed his gaze on the ground and picked up a misshapen skull, before dropping it and continued towards the river.

When they reached the cliffs near the waterfall, Luisa covered her mouth when Jasper was nowhere to be found and blood tainted the rocks. "We need to go back to the ship," she said and they ran off.

They approached the dropship, excessively panting and Bellamy went for his injured sister as Wells tried to question them. "Grounders," Finn said. "There are other people here."

Luisa noticed that Murphy, Mbege, and a few others weren't wearing their wrist bands and she frowned, "Where are your bands?" "We took 'em off," Murphy answered. "We don't wanna be trapped like dogs anymore." "What the hell?" she exclaimed, glaring at Bellamy. "Whatever the hell we want!" he shouted and the delinquents started chanting the motto.

She held up a hand for them to quiet and they eventually did with Bellamy's command. "I told you to watch over them and this is what you do?" she snapped. "I give the people what they want," he said.

"We will all die if we don't work together against the Grounders!" she projected her voice. "Our friends and family need to know that the ground is survivable and taking off our wrist bands won't help them!" "Everyone, start cutting down wood!" Clarke shouted and she gave her a nod. "We need to build a barrier for this campsite to protect ourselves from the Grounders!"

Luisa tilted her head at Bellamy to help. "They listen to you," she said. "Start working," he ordered and they dispersed, chattering to his demands.

The five grouped and Bellamy and Wells closed in. "Jasper was taken by a Grounder," Finn said. "Then we go get him," Luisa told them. "How?" Bellamy asked. "We don't where he was taken." "And the way the spear was precisely thrown, the Grounder could kill us," Finn added.

"Bellamy has a gun," Wells spoke and their eyes turned to him then at the weapon hooked on his belt. "Great, now we can go," Clarke said. "Go pack, we leave in thirty."

"Monty," Luisa called back when they broke out. "You should stay here and try to reconnect with the Ark." He tried to argue with her and she shook her head and he nodded, going inside the ship.

"Why the hell do you have a gun?" she asked and Bellamy turned around, showing it off. "Tell me." "I was part of the guard, I had a gun," he said simply and she rolled her eyes.

"Octavia, you're injured, you're not going," she said, seeing her with a pack. "Jasper's my friend, I should save him." "Luisa's right, O, you should stay back," Bellamy said and she groaned, tossing her the pack and went off to help the others.

"Happy birthday," he managed a smile. "I don't feel like celebrating," she said. "Well, you're an adult now, we have to take care of the children," he pointed out. Clarke called for them and she followed her, Wells, and Finn.
"Murphy!" Bellamy shouted. "Let's go! Atom, take care of my sister and everyone get back to work!"

Luisa was stuck between Bellamy and Murphy, behind Wells, and Finn and Clarke were far in the front.

"So what do you do, Sweet Kane?" Murphy snickered her nickname. "I was on many stations," she said. "Farming, and guard, learned a few things in medical and engineering." "Oh, the privileged," he understood, putting an arm over her shoulder. "It's okay, not everyone gets to be the Big Three's children."

"What's the Big Three?" she asked. "Us, the less fortunate," Bellamy began. "Named your dad, Abby Griffin -after Jake Griffin died- and Jaha as the Big Three." "It's quite stupid of you guys to throw away the popularity and get stuck in Skybox," Murphy said. "But hey, at least you're not as stuck up as the prince and princess. You used your platform and helped us, the less fortunate."

"I know," she said, getting quiet. "I always hated it when people were floated for the stupidest reasons. I tried to convince my dad to be lenient but it was always up to the chancellor." "You should join our rebellion," Murphy suggested. "Taking off the wrist band." She stared at him and shrugged her shoulders.

The five made it to the river and used the vine to swing to the other side. Finn used his tracking skills and followed the drops of Jasper's blood, deeper into the forest.

The two troublemakers had left her to whisper like snakes in Wells' ear, leaving her time to think. The ground was a beautiful setting to spend her birthday but the peace to be disrupted by a friend getting speared. She listened to the chirping birds wondering how the Grounders survived generations of radiation.

The group stopped in front of a wheatgrass clearing to see a circle of stakes holding corpses. Flies buzzed around them as they stepped onto the disturbing ground and heard moaning.

"Jasper," Finn said and they could see him strapped up like the rest. A patch was on the hole where he'd been speared and they rushed over. Beside her, Clarke slipped into a trap and she caught her arm. "I got you," she huffed, pulling her up.

Finn, Murphy, and Bellamy figured out a way to help Jasper down without dropping him in the pit and they carried him onto the dead grass. In the distance, they could hear a small growling and a panther started heading towards them.

"Bellamy shoot!" she shouted and he hesitantly searched for his gun when bullets went off. Luisa turned to see Wells was constantly shooting at the panther until it stopped breathing. "That's enough," Bellamy said firmly, grabbing the weapon.

"At least we have food," Clarke pointed out, pulling a parachute out of her pack and the guys rolled up the animal. She and Clarke carried Jasper under their arms, hearing his faints groans as they went back to camp.

The delinquents had built a wall and fire had crackled in the center. "Food!" Bellamy shouted and they rushed over. Some gasped at the sight of Jasper as they took him in the dropship and up to the third floor.

"Jasper," Monty sighed and Octavia came in, seeing their friend. "This patch is keeping everything sealed but we need to remove it and stitch him up," Clarke said, pouring moonshine over his chest and he grunted.

The latch opened and Miller poked his head through, "You guys should come eat before you start that." Luisa eyed them and made a quick nod before going down the ladder.

At the fire, someone had roasted the panther, passing out pieces of meat for them to eat and cups of water from the previous sprinkle. Finn was approaching her and Clarke with food when Murphy stopped him.

"The rule is to take off the wrist band for food," he said and she rolled her eyes. "We had a discussion, Luisa." "That doesn't mean I said yes," she pointed out, taking the meat and bit into it.

"You shouldn't be doing that," Clarke called out to the girl who was getting her wrist band taken off. "Whatever the hell we want," she told her and they cheered when the metal popped off.

Luisa trailed back into the dropship on the first floor and ate by herself. She leaned her back, let out an exhale, and tried to get some shut-eye.
