Clarke

"What are the stats?" Abby questioned. "The knife is lodged between the third and fourth band of the ribs," Clarke explained, pouring moonshine on her hand and she passed the bottle to Raven who did the same and drank it.

Kids started piling into the dropship with their jackets over their heads. "Storm?" she asked and Harper nodded. "Some stay on this floor and the rest of you go to the second," she ordered and they dispersed. She pulled the lever to the dropship and the door closed.

"Are you ready, Clarke?" Abby asked. "Yeah," she said with a sniffle and her mother and Jackson started giving her instructions.

Luisa

The warmth of a nearby fire-heated Luisa's face and her eyes fluttered open to find herself in a black, wet gave. The fire crackled and her eyes settled down when she lifted, pressing on her forehead.

Her eyes found their way to a man in a torn long sleeve, adjusting his felted coat. She figured he was a Grounder from the camouflaged mud covering his jacket and his scarred face. His long hair was tied back and she could see his green eyes through the dirt.

He finally saw that she was awake and she looked down, wondering if that was the same way Octavia felt being in the presence of a Grounder. Maybe she was scared, but Luisa felt nothing. It was covered by the pain of mourning her grandmother.

She slicked her hair into a ponytail and quickly searched herself for cuts. She found one under her pants where the rope had tied her ankle and she frustratedly wiped it with her shirt. Why did he save her?

She pulled her knees to her chest, resting her elbows on them making a small sniffle, and leaned her head back. She checked her surroundings for an escape and she saw the cave lead somewhere in the far right corner. She glanced at him as he sharpened his sword and filled his quiver with feathered arrows.

Luisa took a breath, getting up, and found her ankle was fine but she had to steady herself from the balancing blood. She gave him a small nod and went for the corner. When she looked up, leaves were covering bars and water was dripping through until she heard thunderclaps above.

She let out a loud groan, going back to the center and he was staring at her. From her height, she could see he had the key to the lock on the bars and she sighed, kneeling beside the fire.

Taking off her jacket, she set it near the fire to warm up and she cracked her sore neck. When she glanced at him, he was leaning on the rocky wall with an arm over a leg and he played with a feather, ignoring her. He eyed her up and down in a way of disgust then he went back to his business.

She stared at the fire, taking out the pack of peanuts and set down the knife beside it. "In peace may you leave this shore," she whispered. "I'm love may you find the next, safe passage on your final journey to the ground, may we meet again." The prayer was for the people who died on the Ark for extra air, her grandmother, and the dead delinquents. She tossed two peanuts in the fire and sniffled, "May we meet again."

Luisa backed away from the fire, going back to her spot across the Grounder who continued to study her but it didn't bother her. She couldn't sit there anymore, her friends probably killed the Grounder for injuring Finn and she needed to be there. Putting on her jacket, she curled against the wall with her back towards the fire and she fell asleep.
