Pilot part 3

John B narration

I woke up after the hurricane completely dazed and confused then i remember the events of the previous day.

No service?

No power. Great.

I wake outside to see jj and lynn sharing the pull out couch as they normally do.

I wake over and tap jj and lynn

yo jj,lynn have you guys been outside

I have polio, bro. I can't walk. jj said

I look over to lynn for her to respond and i just see her passed out.

I shrug i off and go outside to see the rest of the damage the hurricane did.

I talk to jj for a while and decide that its a good idea to go fishing

A/N:time skip because im too lazy to write 

Third person narration 

"sure hope guffy's boat didn't sink"

"Hi, Miss Amy!" John B waved at Amy and her family as they passed the dock. Lynn turned to wave hello "You guys get through it?"

"still here" amy responded

"she totally look at me" jj said

"ugh you wish" Lynn said as she past jj to sit on the bow of the boat.

"Damn its so much dirtier than usual" Lynn said as she looked down to the water near the docks.  There was tons of trash in the water, and she already knew Kie was going to complaining about how the wildlife was going to be affected.

we're going to be cleaning this up all summer

Now thats is my nightmare.

Well, look who we have here!" JJ whooped, and she laughed as she saw Pope looking unamused with a hose in his hand, cleaning the wooden deck.

"We have a safety meeting, attendance mandatory," JJ echoed, using his hands to make his voice sound more like radio static.

"I can't, my pops got me on lockdown."

"Come on, man!" JJ whined, and then switched from his regular voice back to his radio voice. "Your dad's a pussy, over."

"I heard that you little bastard" Heyward said pointing at jj

"we need your son" John b said moving the boat closer to the dock so pope can make a run for it.

"Yeah, island rules," JJ added, nodding his head. "Day after a hurricane's a free day."

"Who the hell made that up?" Mr. Heyward deadpanned

"Uh, Pentagon, I think. We have security clearance. I have a card," Lynn said knowing damn well she made that up two years ago which was the last time they had a hurricane.

After pope arguing back and forth with his dad he decided to jump into the boat.

As they speed away Heyward yelled at pope saying that he hated his friend and lynn simply replied with an I love you too and blowing a kiss.

They made their way towards kie's dock and made a little joke about juice boxes and carrots.

Lynn's narration

After relaxing for a while jj decides to go to the front of the boat where im siting, He then tells pope to speed the boat up. I already know where this is going so i decide to join him this one time.

Everyone starts to complain how it never works and jj keeps telling them that it will.

Me and jj stand at the front of the boat and count down from 3 to start the party trick. Once he attempts to do it the beer its everywhere but him mouth. I attempt it and every drop goes into my mouth. 

Lynnnnn how did u- Jj starts to whine but the boat comes to a sudden stop which sends me and jj flying.

When I come up out of the water i notice the beer bottle is missing and that my hand is bleeding but i forget about my wound once i hear pope called out for jj. I jolt my head up and hear jj whine about his heels touching the back of his head. I go back on the boat and take off my shirt completely forgetting about the bruises on my ribcage i had previously gained from my parents. Everyone starts looking at me with big eyes and their jaws practically on the floor. 

jj starts toward me with sad puppy dog eyes he then looks down at my ribcage and then i look down and finally realize what they're all shocked about. I quickly chuckle and say that i had gotten into a fight and that they should see the other dude. 

Just as I was about to be bombarded with questions from my friend pope exclaims that there was a boat in the water. Just as they were gonna call bullshit kie looks and sees that there is actually a boat. Everyone quickly pulls off their clothes and they jump into the water. The only people left are me and jj.

JJ pov

I take lynn aside and I feel sympathy towards her because i have a feeling shes not telling the truth. I look at her honey brown eyes and she looks so broken a look i know all too well. I ask her if she truly got those bruises from a fight but she doesn't look me in the eye and tell me she just simply shrugs it off and says yea i got into a fight with a kook because he was being an ass and then she walks off and dives into the water. I follow her into the water to check out the boat.

Third person narration 

They all come up out of the water and jj says That's a Grady-White. A new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy.

Lynn says that thats the boat her and john b saw when they surfed the surge.

Jj goes over to her and high fives her and says thats my girl Eve pouge style.

Lynn smiles a little at him calling her his girl but she quickly wipes the smirk off her face before anyone notices 

John b then went down with the anchor to explore it and he found a motel key. They went to go report it to the coast guard bu there was no use because they were too busy with a diabetic dog.

Looks like they're going to find out what line behind the shipwreck pouge style.
