Just Say Yes (Adrienette)

Chapter 11

Author's Note:

Finally a new chapter after practically a whole year has passed.

Time skip

It was about 6 p.m now, after Marinette spent the rest of the evening snacking, thinking about Adrien and scrolling through her phone she decided to change into her pyjamas and lounge around until it was time to go patrol.

"Plagg come on, we're heading out"
"What? Whyyyyy do you wanna go so early?" Plagg whined
"We're not going on patrol just yet, I'm gonna get something for my girlfriend"  he said grinning at the last two words.

"Cheese?"
"No Plagg, Marinette doesn't want stinky camembert cheese."
"But that's the best gift you could ever give someone"Plagg retorted
"No, now come on" he said and opened his shirt for Plagg to fly in

He made his way to the nearest flower shop.
"Hello, I'd like a bouquet of red and purple roses please."

The shop owner looked at him and smiled, "not many guys get roses for their girlfriends nowadays, she must mean a lot to you." he said

"Yeah she does, she's my everything" he admitted while blushing

The owner nodded in approval and went to organize the bouquet, he also put in a small teddy bear and a Cadbury chocolate bar as a surprise.

"Wow these are so nice, thanks very much sir"
"The other stuff is on the house my boy"
He replied

And with that, he paid, and left.

Calling on his transformation in an alleyway he hurried to Marinette's house.

A soft thud was heard and proceeded with 3 knocks.

Marinette and Tikki looked at each other smiling
"Its open" she said

Tikki made herself scarce in a random drawer in her room, knowing what would happen between the two of them in a matter of minutes.

He hopped in with his gift for her

"Hi" he said grinning
"Hey" she said happily

He presented the bouquet with the chocolate and teddy bear to her.

"Adrien, you didn't have to get me anything, but thank you, these are so beautiful"she said while flushing

"Not as beautiful as you though"
He grinned confidently seeing her blush, he loved knowing that he was the cause of that blush.

"I'm going to get a vase for these, I'll be right back" she said
She left the teddy bear on her bed while she went downstairs.

He hopped down to her chaise and laid down there with hands behind his head, completely relaxing as if he were home.

When she returned, she saw him lying on her chaise with his eyes closed and a smile on his handsome face. She went over to him and caressed his face before climbing back up to her bed.

Only a few seconds had passed before Adrien said "Marinette?"
"Yes?"
"I think I'm hurt"
"What? Where?"she said hurrying down to help him.

She stood by his feet waiting for him to tell her something

"Come closer"he said softly
She stepped a bit closer
"Closer"he repeated

Because he was still lying on the chaise, she climbed onto it so that she ended up hovering over him, essentially straddling him with a concerned expression on her face.

"Just a little bit closer" he said almost whispering now

She slightly leant in towards him "where are you hurt?"she asked slightly confused
