Akaashi helped Bokuto through the door to his apartment. You see, Bokuto had gotten so drunk, that Akaashi had to take him to his own apartment instead of back to Bokuto's own house.

    "Heheh... Agaashiiiii, where are weee?"

   "We're at my apartment Bokuto-san."

"You haz a nize apartment Agaashiiii." Bokuto said while swiveling his head around to take in the sight of Akaashi's apartment. Bokuto's words slurred so badly to the point where Akaashi could barely make out what he was saying. Bokuto slumped against the nearest wall.

"Bokuto-san, you're not making it very easy for me to help you..." Akaashi said, while trying to get Bokuto to lean on him instead of the wall.

"Awwww Agaashiii, you don't need to to help meee," said Bokuto. "I'm feelin absolutely great!"

" Yeah, haha, that's the beer talking Bokuto-san," said Akaashi. Finally, Akaashi was able to get Bokuto's arm over his shoulder. Akaashi was surprised that he was able to get Bokuto into his apartment's spare room without him knocking anything over. Akaashi sat Bokuto down on the edge of bed and looked at him seriously. It was difficult to keep his composure, considering Bokuto was looking up at him with the most dopiest grin.

"Ahem, Bokuto-san, we need to get those clothes off so I can wash them," Akaashi said with a small blush forming at the idea of Bokuto having to strip.

"Hahaaa... Agaashi juzt wantz to see me shirtlezzz..." said Bokuto throwing his head back and taking a big breath of air. Akaashi rolled his eyes then crossed his arms.

"A-alright Bokuto-san, I'm going to go get you a glass of water. Try and change into that pair of sweat pants by the time I'm back, ok?" Said Akaashi, pointing to a pair of black sweatpants on the dresser. Bokuto nodded, the same dopey look on his face. Akaashi's face flushed and he looked away before walking out of the room.

Why am I getting flustered around him? He's my best friend, but ever since recently, I've been getting butterflies in my stomach every time I'm around him. Jeez, I've even started stuttering my words, I've never had a stuttering problem before, so what's the problem? Akaashi sighed, cutting off the trail of thoughts that he knew would soon lead to the thing he didn't want to believe was true. Akaashi poured the glass of water then walked out of the kitchen and back into the spare bedroom, only to see something he hadn't expected to see.

"Kaashi! Can you please help me?" Asked Bokuto innocently. Akaashi sighed, he didn't know how Bokuto had managed to get his head in the arm hole of his shirt. One arm was free and the other was stuck in the head hole.

"Of course Bokuto-san," said Akaashi with a deep sigh. Akaashi gently pulled the shirt off Bokuto's back and eased his head out of the arm hole. His arm easily slid out of the head hole once his head was out of the arm hole. Akaashi took the shirt and set it on the side table. Akaashi helped Bokuto take off his jeans trying to suppress the blush he know was forming on his face. Stop. Stop. Stop. This is not ok, he's drunk, I shouldn't be thinking like this. Akaashi's mind was swimming with thoughts. Suddenly, he was pulled from his thoughts when he heard Bokuto say:

   "Kaashi, I'm thirstyyyyyy,"

"You're so needy" was what Akaashi wanted to say but he held his tongue. He grabbed the glass of water he had set on the dresser and walked to the side of the bed where Bokuto was still sitting. Akaashi didn't quite trust Bokuto with the glass cup, especially because he was drunk. Akaashi gently grabbed Bokuto's chin and tilted it up slightly. Akaashi brought the glass to Bokuto's lips, tilting it downward, allowing the crystal liquid to slide down Bokuto's throat at a steady pace. Akaashi watched as Bokuto's Adam's apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed the water. Fuck, what's wrong with me? he thought. He tilted the glass a little more, letting the last few drops of water trickle down Bokuto's throat.
