Bokuaka Oneshots (fluff)

    Ok, so. This isn't a new chapter, I just wanted to say something. You don't have to read if you don't want to, but I'd really appreciate it if you did.

   So, I've been reading a lot of Bokuaka oneshots recently and almost all of them portray at least one of Akaashi's parents as abusive and/or homophobic. So, I was thinking about how I wouldn't view Akaashi's parents to be this way and in the process, I came up with my own little head canon. So I thought I'd share it with y'all. Hope you enjoy and let me know if you would like me to write a oneshot based off of this.

   Akaashi's dad works a 9 to 5 office job and his mom works morning shifts at this little diner around the corner of their apartment building. Akaashi gets his common sense and practicalness from his dad, and his manners and cooking skills from his mom. He was raised in a loving environment where they loved him, supported him, and taught him to be independent without totally abandoning him and making him think they didn't love him. One day, when he's older and in high school, he meets a tall, loud, and obnoxious boy while out grocery shopping for the dinner he was going to make for his parents on their anniversary. They talk and the boy insists on paying for Akaashi's groceries, despite Akaashi's protesting. The boy (*cough cough* Bokuto *cough cough*) somehow manages to get Akaashi's number and they end up texting late into the night💖.

    Thank you for the people that decided to read this, even though it isn't a new chapter. I had fun thinking about this head canon and please let me know if you want me to write a chapter off this head canon. I probably will anyways because I lack inspiration and no one comments on the chapters🥲. I love you all and hopefully I will be able to update tomorrow, but it's thanksgiving so I don't know. If I can't update a new chapter tomorrow, I might just post some of my terrible art. Anyways, happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate, and I love you all so so so much!❤️❤️❤️
