"HEY HEY HEY! AHGAASHI!!!" Yelled and overly excited voice. One that Akaashi Keiji had familiarized himself with quite a bit in the past year. The body to the voice ran towards Akaashi and stopped in front of him, smiling brighter than ever before. Akaashi studied the man's features with his neutral expression, as he did every time he spoke with his close friend. And every time, Akaashi found himself getting lost in his brilliant golden eyes.

"Good morning Bokuto-san." Bokuto smiled, causing Akaashi to blush and look away.

"Wanna go to the beach with me after school?" Akaashi considered this as he finished tying the laces to his left sneaker. Akaashi stood, somewhat leveling his gaze with Bokuto's.

"Ah, I don't know Bokuto-san... I have homework due Monday that I need to get done." Bokuto frowned.

"But Ahgaashi! It's Friday. You have aaaaaaaaaaall weekend to finish your homework!" pouted Bokuto, wilting slightly.

"Mm, fine. But just this once." Bokuto beamed but was quickly distracted when he heard the whistle blow.

"Oya? Practice is starting! Come on Kaashi! Toss me a few!" Akaashi nodded and followed after Bokuto.

......................After Practice..........................

Bokuto pranced over to Akaashi, two water bottles in hand. He handed one of the bottles to Akaashi and took a swig from the bottle he still had in his hand.

"Thank you, Bokuto-san." Said Akaashi, nodding his head in thanks.

"So, ya ready for the beach, Kaashi?"

    "Sure."

"Alriiiight! Come on Kaashi!" exclaimed Bokuto, slinging both of their gym bags over his shoulder and exiting the gym. Akaashi rolled his eyes and followed, a small smile spreading across his lips.

Akaashi found Bokuto outside, bouncing on the tips of his shoes. He heard Akaashi approaching and turned around. He smiled and beckoned Akaashi over. Once Akaashi got closer Bokuto started walking again, a determined look on his face. The whole walk Akaashi stayed a little behind Bokuto. Slightly hesitant, considering all the other times Bokuto had gotten them lost. After a little while of walking Akaashi finally disrupted the silence he so desperately appreciated.

"Bokuto-san... Do you know where you're going...?" Bokuto looked over his shoulder, an offended frown on his face.

"I'm hurt that you would ask that Akaashi. Of course I know where I'm going. Have I ever led us wrong before? Actually- you know what? Ignore that last part." Akaashi rolled his eyes with a smile, shaking his head.

"Alright, Bokuto-san. Just... make sure you pay attention to where we are, kay?"

    "Always!"

Soon they came to a fork in the road and Akaashi mentally face-palmed as he watched Bokuto's gaze switch from one path to the other, his hand scratching his chin as he thought. Akaashi sighed, walking over to stand next to Bokuto.

"Bokuto-san... be honest. Are we lost?" Asked Akaashi, looking up at Bokuto and raising an eyebrow.

"Nope. I know exactly where we're going." Bokuto turned his head to make eye contact with Akaashi. Bokuto flashed his charming smile, the one that made Akaashi melt. "So don't worry, Kaashi! I got this!" Akaashi felt his face burn and barely managed a small nod. Bokuto looked forward again, continuing down the right path. Akaashi, stiff as a board, followed.

"Haha! I knew it was the right way! I mean, I never doubted my killer sense of direction, but still." Said Bokuto, hands on his hips in a triumphant manner. Akaashi giggled, this caught Bokuto's attention. Bokuto's shoulders drooped and a gentle smile spread across his face. Akaashi's laugh always put him in a tranquil state that he had to be wakened from.
